The film acknowledges the age difference. He's this older sophisticated man and she's a school girl who has a crush on him. I don't see any problem with that.He never takes advantage of her age and trust. And if it weren't for the circumstances -stranded in a foreign country during a revolution- they'd never even spend time together.Of course the makers could have left the ending a little more open ended. Nothing wrong with the film per se. Though the heroine's uncanny resemblance to Aishwarya was more disturbing.
