Nah, it was IPKKND. The show has a cult following because it was one of the first all romance shows in a time of saas-bahu serials like YRKKH (Hina Khan era back then) and SNS season 1.

IB is also Gul Khan though. She only changed tactics with IPZN, where the lead pair wed with both of their consents, happily in love. But that still had its own bad parts..

I think she went with all that buffoonery because he blackmailed her by threatening her that he'll tank her sister's marriage and get Akash to leave Payal. That was the catalyst. I don't think contract meant anything to her, it was her family's and sister's happiness that did, along with the sacrificial thought process of going ahead and repaying the family that raised her.

In IB Gul went all in...bht bhayankar blackmail tha...but at least the hero got berated. IPKKND mein Arnav never got berated or any attitude from anyone. What was sad in IB was that Anika completely forgave Shivaay and fell for him without a serious apology.
