Chap 6

Imlie found out the that person who attacked her was the serial killer she was researching on. She can write her report with her personal experience as well. He was found dead and according to reports he died same night she was attacked . That means…she gasped at the thought Aryan killing a man. He was serial killer she didnt care if he died but Aryan did a crime.

In the office, she went to Aryan’s cabin .

As soon she knocked, he told her to come in as if he was expecting her.

“What up Imlie?” He asked very calmly .

“That night did you kill the man? “ she asked bluntly

“Yes” he replied truthfully.

“You know you did crime?” She said raising her eyebrow

“In my world , its called justice not crime. Its call duty not crime” he said arrogantly rather.

“Your world? What you mean your world? You are human not an alien who can do whatver they want. We have laws” she told him as if he was stupid

“I dont care about your laws”

“Its not my laws ! Its law of the land” she argued

“I still dont care. I have my laws and rules where i live. Our justice is done old ways”

“Old ways what you mean? “ she asked curiously

“In Sukoon, anybody do crime be it going against elders, commiting crime or even women not submitting to men can be horribly punished”

“Not submitting to men? Are you a cavemen? That is regressive as F**k. Excuse my language. Your place suck then” She responded aggressively.

“I am trying to change things in my land, you see i rule there. The laws doesnt change overnight am against anything that harms women. I am trying” he still was talking softly .

“I want to know more and in details” she said. She was curious after what he mentioned about his town. What town lives like this? What about government? What is going on?

“Oh really? And why so?”

“Because you intrigued me by your talks” she commented

“Then if you want to know you have to go on date with me” he asked upfront grabbing the chance he got.

“WHAT!!” Imlie was stunned at his audacity .

“Date and you can get answers no date nothing.

Plus i will bring you tamarind bouquet if you dont agree”

“Wow good way to threaten a girl and dare ask for date” she slow clapped

“Whatever. Am losing patience yes or no?” He asked

She left without giving answer pissing him off. He then calmed himself and decided to give her time, and good he didnt react impulsively because in half hour she came back.

“I will go out with you on date but really its not a date . I am damn curious about your place” she said

“Fine. Tonight?” He asked

“7pm?” She replied

“Will pick you up” he said , she nodded and exited again.

Imlie forgot about that she gone in to confront him about killing that guy but the curiosity got to her. She was journalist after all, her investigative brain wants to know more..and she will do whatever it takes even going date with the obnoxious man she ever met.

That evening she wore a pretty summer dress to match the weather. It was knee length white dress with blue polka dots.
She waited downstairs as he came in damn expensive purple lamborghini. “Wow this arrogant man doesnt deserve this beautiful car. Lucky bas*ard” she muttered. She needs to stop with bad words not sure whats gotten into her.

With the series showing us such terrible tracks, trust your stories are saviors. Your work is showing different facets the story of Arylie can be explored. I know not the track but the cute moments. How we all wanted office romance and they gave us this disgusting track. Thanks for your time and efforts to distract us from the terribleness. I am almost on the verge of leaving watching the show if pregnancy is real, but will come to read your work 👍
