Does Crime Patrol glorify police brutality?

Anyone who watches Crime Patrol would know that a regular episode of the show follows a standard pattern.

A murder happens. Police starts investigation doubting everyone related to the victim...friends, family, colleagues, anyone who had some kind of enmity or could've gained from his death.

In that process police also harasses, beats up and locks up their suspects in jail until they confess to anything they know but are hiding it for some reason. In the end the actual culprit is someone whom police had least or no doubt on.

In a way, it justifies police going to any length to catch the criminal, doesn't matter if in the process they are harsh on people who are completely innocent. Crime Patrol most of the time shows police as honest and competent, and all the civilians as shady people even if they are not the actual criminals.

Do you think the show glorifies police brutality?

Yes it does, and when we used to watch it, We even made fun of how they just start beating before even asking anything. But when in all seriousness, it’s pretty brutal especially when innocent is involved. I am hoping it’s actually not like that in India.

lol what brutality? All it takes is for the cop to give a slap for people to start crying and spill all. They don't even have to get past the warm-up session.😆

It does happen in India in real. Common people fear the Indian police because they abuse their power.

Do you think its okay if cops just slap? and they do beat up suspects or put them in jail for days till the time they don't confess.

forgot George Floyd?😉 Waterboarding, neck holds, killing unarmed civilians, choking a guy till his life is snuffed out... I think a lot more people fear the cops in the US.😉

better than shooting someone innocent or sitting on a guy till he chokes, all which happen much too frequently in the US. In the scheme of things, slapping someone is ok if it can get them to confess. I'd hate to see a criminal walk free and go rape/ murder other people just because we cant even slap them around or rough them up a bit. Cant go too soft on crime, as so many of the lefties do.😉

A funny question. In Shahi uncle ke shows almost all deaths are unnatural and questionable. Still we barely see any police investigation....
