Kid fixing parent’s marital problems….that is very horrifying for a kid yaar.., kids are supposed to be kids, the onus of parenting is on parents… but I don’t get this mainstream obsession with kids taking upon them the onus of fixing their parents’ love life… 🤪

I mean, at such tender age do they even know the dynamics of a couple other than looking upto them for security and providence and affection.?

This impacts them so much growing up , and it results in too much dysfunction in their own relationships if not properly reparented🤷‍♀️ But this glorified and romanticised from films to soaps… 😤

It seriously depends on the writing & execution. Its annoying that most kids in all shows are Dadi Amma

Like someone said on 🐦, show mein 'thehraav' nahi hai. There's a lot of noise and not enough silence. We need scenes that may not serve the plot but enhance characterizations and relationships. Inki toh alag hi train choot ti rehti hai - they're always in such a hurry. Na planning hai, na execution.

Even NM and DP look like they're doing the scenes for the sake of doing them - their dialogues feel half-hearted. And they don't even resemble Ram and Priya anymore, just not-NM and not-DP.

Exactly! I have been telling this all along. They look like two parrots reciting the scripts. Zero emotions! Their chemistry died after the Motel kiss scene. After that day, we all lost Ram and Priya. If you recall the scenes after that, it is only two actors and no characters anymore. Even Priya's "aap kitne cute hai" looked so forced to me.

It was when I was sleeping. When I saw it later in the day, I wrote to Tirchi, Doc, Coco, SP - Ki dekho how sarcastic these people were and so on point. Read all their replies. Your tummy will hurt laughing. I feel we should spread this thread on Twitter.

So true.... You just said exactly what's missing... No super intelligent kaands or extravagant parties.. just simple scenes to grow the characters or their relationship...

IB continued for so long and the kaands there were also neverending along with inconsistent writing/characters.. however could still bear it coz there used to be enough beautiful scenes too... be it the bonding of Bros or shivika never ending flirting... Didn't need very complicated writing... Just simple scenes like eating road side paw bhaji...kicking while sleeping... Eating guriya ke baal together... So many to count..

If only the writers are open to take feedback from the audiences... All of us are demanding the same thing over and over again...
