If cannes pays all.those artists, their stylish, helpers and hubbies, families for 9 days then they will bankrupt with one year.

I think they will allocate budget to main people like jury members that's all, how many people or assistants you bring it's upto you, rest it should go from your pocket

and they may give invitation to nominated movies. Rest either individual director or PH or their own money. That's why few stay for a day or two and leave the festival. For show off or PR hype purpose few pay themselves and attend i guess

True its all PR but i wish the old essence would come back 🤔 kinda missing it this year.

i think director or producer is same as the one for helly's movie. seems he waits all year to release posters on Cannes 🤣
