I like Barun off screen too.. like I did see an interview during lockdown with both him and sanaya and the interviewer said something about Mohit that sounded a little mean to me.. Barun did give back to her. Subtly but he did..

Your first and last paragraph is exactly what I commented on another post about Neil-Aarohi couple. It's not a typical bickering couple like the ones you mentioned. All of characters had innate goodness and love for family/others in them. Here one is an ambitious mean egotistic selfish schemer (and not in a cute non-threatening way like sidies from other shows), while the other lives and works for wellbeing of others with his whole heart. Just that lack of ambition on Neil's part is enough to kill this relationship slowly but realistically. But the other characteristics difference doesn't even allow me to see them come together.

Most importantly Neil is no clueless cousin who comes midway through the series and falls in love with her "spunk" without knowing her true nature. Infact, Neil is the first character who figured out her dirty mind and deeds. He knows her inside-out and how low she can go to achieve her motives. Why would he willingly tie himself to someone so shallow and morally corrupt is beyond me?

In a phrase, the answer to your question is - Because ITV.

It is the whole bad boy meets good girl, but in reverse.

I am not an Aarohi fan, I completely dislike her character, irrespective of her standing with Abhi and Akshu but that is not the way a lot of KS fans/Sirat fans see her, I suppose. To them, she is a "victim" of Abhi and Akshu who was "used" by Abhi to get Akshu and deserves a person much better than Abhi because, well, she is "ambitious."

If you do not share a similar mindset, you become a "blind AbhiRa supporter."

They want NeiRohi because according to them Neil will "change" her to become more compassionate, she will become a Birla bahu, which was her goal from the start and they have the nok-jhok that famous couples have .

That is all I can glean from having read many of her "fans" posts on tellyupdates/twitter/IF. Which is why I have now stopped visiting any of those sites and only visit this thread 🤣

For your mental well-being, I would advise you to do the same 🤣

I think we should wait until they reveal Neel’s naamkaran. His situation and loyalties may shift somewhat- I don’t know where exactly it will land but I’m excited to wait for it.

Aarohi will be wiser then and they may find something they can relate to. Hopefully by then KS will learn the nuances of acting to match Paras.

If they are smart by then Aarohi would have reset her equation with Abhi and they have a cordial relationship and she’s less envious of Ak.

I may be ok with her IF she is properly redeemed. Which as of now is a distant dream because this female cries and gets all jealous because her sister is being adored by people and is loved by her husband!

And by then Karishma needs to get better at her acting too.. which again looks difficult..
