He might have struck the right chords every now and then but are you sure they're not in the minority? Not that I can claim to know his entire body of work like you. 😛

When someone says Anu Malik, my mind start humming garam chai ki pyali and India is the best. and those awful AWFUL parts in kaali kaali ankhein where he butchers the song. Not these songs... maybe I need some time to let it settle. 😆 I think Kumar Sanu has an amazing voice and adds another dimension to these songs too.

Well the 90s were ruled by 3 - 4 composers, Anu Malik, Nadeem-Shravan, Jatin-Lalit and Anand Milind, the last one sort of drifted away near the latter part of the 90s. So many hit 90s songs were composed by Anu Malik, you probably just aren't aware of it. 😆

And what are you talking about, the mein mila tu mili part in Kaali Kaali Aankhein is hilarious!😆 Yeh, it's from the same film tere dar par sanam, I've heard that cover, it's really good.
