Apparently because Aditya taught Imlie how to write her own name in cursive and was a teacher to her at one point in time. Imlie is expected to forget all the humiliation, insults and choose him over 'lambigaadi'. And just because she chose her self respect she is now called flipilie 😆

Lagta hai aakho ke saath logic ka bhi post mortem kar diya hai logon ne 🤪

Oh which woman doesn't want a husband who teaches them elementary skills? Doesn't scream "psychosexual issues" at all.

Hi, thanks! Always good to have reminders of good conducts.

Are we a) allowed to call fictional characters by the attributes canonically assigned to them by the show/film writers or would that be mocking? Am I allowed to describe Shah Rukh's fictional character in Kabhie Alvidaa Na Kehna as a misogynist adulterer who was jealous of his wife's professional growth or should I use the floral language like middle-aged, lonely man, whose big bad wife always got promotions at work, slept with another woman circumstantially to describe the character so that the real actor's fans don't get hurt?

b) Which fandom shall we be mindful of when we are discussing about random unrelated people and/or cultural trends like, say, the Kawai dress-up subculture in Tokyo? Do certain collective/universal/abstract nouns refer to particular fandoms that we must be aware of?

Asking these here in good faith for further elucidiation so that we don't make the same mistakes.

Many thanks!

Lol for (a) the first is fine. As long as it's about the character and you aren't generalizing it about fans or the actor, then it's fine.

(b) You are allowed to discuss fandoms in general, but what happened here was bashing and mocking them by saying things like "bigots" or "idiots". We just ask you be respectful. We aren't trying to restrict speech, just keep it limited to a certain few rules and common respect.

Hi, thanks for the response. Dutifully noted.

I see that one of my posts which used the term "bigamy stans" was trashed, and I was wondering why or which fandom might take it as a personal affront to them when I was referring to the myriad of people who support and perpetuate bigamy in society. If bigamy exists in society, surely there are people who support it? Just like many people support/stan the social evil of dowry? If "bigamy stan" is an offensive term to describe such people, may I please uae the term "admirers/advocates of bigamy" when referencing such a section of our society?

Again, asking in good faith.

Many thanks!

See even if people report it, we review it ourselves. When we read it, we thought you were talking specifically about a fangroup as well. So in that case, if you meant for "bigamy stan" to be about general bigamy supporters, then just supporter instead of stan. Even if it is reported, if we review that and we don't come to the same conclusion then the post wouldn't get trashed.
