I agree that if Sai's mother was alive things would have been different, but that is how Sai would have shaped up as a human being. May be not so headstrong. Maybe yes maybe no. But there would have been traces of that influence in her character. But having said that we can't say that KJ didn’t fit in that shoes. He would have tried. As girls, over the years we grow our bonds with our parents differently at different phases. I'm was close to my dad when I was probably till school. When I entered college it changed. Only because there are phases in life you seek a particular parent for your need and support and guidance. And it differs for each one of us. And it starts very early and with simplest of things. As small as asking for extra pocket money or getting excuse from cleaning the cupboard because mom is stricter. To discussing a proposal from a guy with mum knowing dad will lose it. But here Sai didn’t have that choice.

If her mother was alive, probably she wouldn’t have been married. Also struggles and problems are part of life which come irrespective of anything. If she was married and her mother was alive, she may have never returned to CN. She would have handled situations a little differently but the struggles would have been there. We are talking about the mighty Chavan after all. Tough nuts without nuts🤣

Aaba has clearly done the best job in raising Sai without her mother he truly was her Aai+Baba 🥺

Ashwini has disappointed me way too much and kinda proved that mom in law can never be you mother which I don’t believe in typical notions as such but she proved this by her behaviour. And this sometimes makes me feel whether her love for Sai was not about loving her but she supported her as a rebellion to the Chavan fam because she had always been treated badly.
I wouldn’t say Ashwini doesn’t love Sai at all but yeah her love is not unconditional but conditional love our of convenience. But alas she’s a mother whom Sai loves way too much.

And as for having Alka in Sai’s life it’s not just about guidance and all but the fact that Sai would’ve gotten that warmth of a mother which is just inexplicable and outweighs everything.

Single parents deserve their due credit too. Aaba has always filled in as the role of Sai’s mother too well so happy Mother’s Day to him too❤️

Plus how can we forget Usha Maushi, she’s always been a motherly figure to Sai. She’s always guided and took care of herself the best. Loved her unconditionally and always wished and done the best for. Always stood alongside her through everything. So happy Mother’s Day to her as well.
