He was talking to her about his dar and she did hear him. It's similar to when she told Madhav that "there's no better partner than Aryan." Then immediately she realized and felt awkward. Similarly he did open to her but realized immediately afterwards and tried to cover it.

I feel these two scenes were parallel. And I love this parallel because it shows how both of them are getting emotionally comfortable with each other albeit unconsciously. They have always been comfortable physically. But now they will open up to each other slowly

Aryan and imlie always were comfortable around each other.

Their relationship was built on TRUST and foundation of their relationship is very strong.

Both witnessed each other on their lowest points and didn't leave the other alone.

Even though when imlie's TRUST on Aryan was shaken but never broken with revenge truth reveal. That's why she was questioning him till the very last moment.

Aryan is getting there slowly. He is able to show his frustration now to her.

Him saying

"Haan tumhari shaadi toh kakima aur didi se huyi hai"

" Dikhogi cute but baatein stupid hi karogi"

"Mujhe Darr lag raha hai"

All these are signs him getting comfortable with her emotionally.

You know when you get pro at masking your emotions..its hard for you to let go the inhibitions once it no longer required.

He's trying and will be there soon. His forte is actions not words and slowly imlie started to see it.

Like today's episode she understood that he was there to give her Glass of water and she drank it to show her acceptance of his kind action❤️
