Varun is so manipulative. He has brainwashed Ishaan so much! I hate to think VK must've done the same to Ram (I'm still giving him the benefit of doubt).

In contrast to Ishaan, Ram speaks fondly of his mother. So it's less likely that VK poisoned his mind against her the way Varun has done with Ishaan.
