I think it must be a flashback scene only because Seema was also dressed in lehenga choli sorta thing. And I don't think Pratha's mom was there to hurt the lady in red, but to take the golden container from her. Seema must've come out of nowhere to hurt the lady, without the prior knowledge of Pratha's mom.
Also, the lady in red isn't Rishab's mom, I think. She's someone else entirely.
