Last year the commun consensus on IF seemed to be that Tiger is such a bankable and crowd pulling star, bugger than the likes of Ranveer and and Hrithik so it’s an interesting turn of event.

Tiger's other hit movies were also trash. The only thing worked in those movies was people wanted to watch the film despite the crappy trailers. Check Tiger's filmography, only those movies worked where the co-star was someone people want to watch in theaters.

I think there are other factors here as well. Tiger got repetitive. Post pandemic people are cautious about where they spend their money. South action flicks are still running. Maybe this one truly is much worse than his other movies 🤷🏽‍♀️.

But if you are right and his movies only worked based on costars what does that say about Tiger’s star power?

It has no novelty value..I remember watching the trailer during the interval of KGF 2 and it was trademark Tiger-- i.e. all the action and gymnastics [resented as dance..

Tara is just there as a flowerpot and that cringe ".... humare bich s ex ho sakta tha" was a total cringe...

But what pained me the most was Nawazuddin's Laila. No acting just hamfest...

Totally underwhelming.

Every big star needs a costar that would bring more audience. Or else Khans would never have bothered about their heroines. Yeah, sometimes they do cast new girls in their movies, but some new girls also can pull audience if they have good screen presence/chatak. Sometimes the superstars also do miscalculate and cast bland new girls like Daisy Shah. Bajrangi Bhaijaan would have flopped if Daisy was the heroine, not Kareena. The co-stars create the pre-release intrigue.

The launde lapade know it's gonna be the same movie, same shirt phado act, IMO they go to see those same ol' ale ol' only. Just in new bottles. The costars are the new bottles.

South actors also have been doing the same crap in all movies.
