While the other industries like south and OTT have been doing good at box office and fame wise, Bollywood is lacking in performance as well as fame compared to the other industries.

Is it because of the demise of SSR acted as an eye opener for public.

The talentless, dull nepo next generation?

Or simply audience has become tired of South remakes and Formula based films?

Yes but it's a message oriented film and it will do well at any time and any circumstances.

I am referring to the general rush and gush of various films which is lacking enthusiasm fame wise and performance wise.

Before the pandemic hit, I loved discussing Hindi films and watching them. Post Covid, with the advent of platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney+Hotstar, etc. I've lost all inclination towards them.

I've been watching global content and I realise just how pathetic these films are, in comparison. They don't explore diverse genres, they don't have exceptional acting talent. Also, Sushant Singh Rajput's demise exposed the underbelly of this industry and that has really put me off.

Nothing can ever get me to watch Hindi films. I'm done for good.

@red - I think THIS plus the excessive wokeness and gyan baatofying of bw celebs has pissed off many people.

This is 🥺

As a Bollywood fan I feel thet they failed to revive and reinvent themselves over the time. Pandemic opened the door to many new content especially Netflix/ S Korean/ Turkish content blew up.

If not going with the wind sticking to roots would have been better. I miss old Bollywood romance and comedy.

Talent and nepotism can co- exist but no...it was a monopoly and now people know their hypocrisy.

I think a good bunch of talented outsiders + something original will bring back the lost glory.

1) Movies are not good

2) Most have subscription and Movies are on OTT platforms within 1 month of release

3)No big budget movie from Bollywood, All kachra stars are releasing kachra Movies...Akki, Ajay, Ranveer etc do multiple movies and release every other month, audience is simply not interested in them

4) Pushpa/RRR/KGF2 released back to back giving an impression that South movies are doing very well when its only Pan India Movies which are doing well

Next big release for Telegu is SVP by Mahesh Babu then all Pan India Movies are releasing in 2023 be it Adipurush, Pushpa 2, NTR30 and RC15....

5) All big Bollywood Movies except Brahmastra and LSC will release in 2023...Pathaan, Dunki, Fighter, Tiger 3, Animal, Shamshera....

2023 will go to Bollywood for sure...
