Have a system of Daily / Weekly Digest which will be sent to member's email with personalised content. It will be sent only to members who have enabled the same.

Currently we are not sending emails when someone posts on your Topic as that would mean sending multiple emails per topic. This daily digest would help them keep a tab on that. And if there are no update pertaining to the user they will not get any email.

There are many who do not log on to the site daily might miss out that there are replies to their topic waiting for them to view. 

We will also include news / videos of the shows / actors which they are following or have in their favourite.

Idea is to reduce emails to users at the same time send only the ones which the user wants be notified about.

While using the comments section I felt that its not that user friendly. The words break and moves to the new line and affects the writing flow. The textarea is too cramped.

Even the current system does not allow user to reply to a comment reply as it only goes 1 level. Making the comment thread difficult to use.

There can be 2 views.. one will be a simpler one which basically shows the comments as they are posted and can be sorted based on Latest First / Oldest First / Popular comments first and if a comment is reply to something one can easily jump to that post how we have the quote option.

If you also feel that Comment system needs more work vote this up.. and if you have more suggestions or you have come across better implentation please do share it with us.

This Topic has really helped us in so many ways in prioritising our task list and we have done some serious stuff in very short time. And at the same time it also helps us keep our regular members updated with all the stuff we are planning to do and share updates. 

Hi, I have minor suggestions.

Not really important to be prioritized but maybe having a bookmark feature in the new fan fiction section would save a lot of time from trying to recall and sifting through chapters to find where we left off reading. Maybe something along the lines of  "You have read further than this would you like to jump there now?"

Many popular SNS such as Telegram, Reddit, and Discord have a spoiler tag. Might be a great feature to be implemented in IF since it's all about discussing TV shows/movies/web series/books etc. The user can mark/label individual parts of messages or the entire message as a spoiler so that it is up to the users whether they want to view that post with the spoiler or skip it.  

Some users who are violating the Code of conduct intentionally and to escape the WL they opt for Hibernation thinking during this period they cannot be given WL.

Well this is changing and mods will soon have access to increase WL even if the user is in Hibernation.

It's a good suggestion. 


However since we do not want to get into developing everything in-house the easier solution would be to allow users to embed from players who are already specialising in it:

SoundCloud / Reverb / Mote.

Usage on forums

I think this would be fun to use when someone wants to do a Singing Contest / Tell A Joke or something. Members would submit their songs and people can vote it up each round.

Can we have  🤢 😬 🔥 reactions added to reaction panel plz? 

IMHO the new Fan Fiction section is an improvement and offers better user experience for Readers and writers.

Many authors will discover that when they migrate their fanfic to the new section they get followers who will be notified of new chapters and new stories. 

There are few issues that it faces currently as I understand are:

1. The comment section looks less attractive compared to forum interaction.

2. Authors post on forums cause they feel they get more views there.

3. Report button missing.

4. Improve homepage to highlight different stories based on popularity, user’s interest.

5. Need to introduce Story Ratings System (similiar to how movies have General / PG / R etc) so that user have a clear idea on level of the story.

I am sure when we start on making our list we will discover more interesting ideas to improve that section.

I will soon create a separate Vote up Topic just for Fan Fiction as It will help us discuss in details the issues.

We have implemented this feature. So "My Post" is now only visible to Self and DT members.

Instead you shuld introduce a group PMing systtem, for groups of 3 or more members to have an easy discussion back and forth without PMing each person individually or forwarding the prevous messages.

Real time means like WhatsApp or the DM feature of twitter/Insta/FB . Am I right Vijay? The current PM feature is more like email, you won't see it until you open it. In real time you will see it in your chat window the moment you open it. 

This could translate into the group chat option we have in other social media sites.
