Netflix India is not true to anything.

I watched 2 Korean shows and both had global feel but they are rooted in their culture. Writers proudly flaunt its Culture.

Indian web shows are either extreme rustic and graphic or extreme hip and westernized.

Just to bring in Global feel, writers lose the Indian essence. Na idhar ke na udhar ke.

They hire PPL who worked for kjo and kjo dropped his hot garbage on this ott.

No quality check.

At best sacred games S1, delhi crime and jamtara was decent enough , all other movies and shows has been bad.

It's the same story with everyone in Bollywood. Disney, Fox, Warner, that one random woman who was producing every other film, Anurag & Phantom, now Netflix. I can see a lot of major south directors/producers going this way shortly. Somebody gets some success, Bollywood latches on, sucks them dry with dumb scripts and outrageous salaries. Rinse and repeat.

It was so funny when Disney bought Fox and one of the first things they did was shut down Fox Studios. Though Ranbir is still keeping them hanging.

Truer words were never spoken,,,,I tried watching a few times and was so put off....it was like either watching po rn movie or a horror movie....nothing sane is there...I don't even know how these OTT soaps get so much praise??😲

Very few shows and movies of Indian content are actually good on Netflix.

Plus it tries too hard to be woke.

Then compare this to an Amazon prime the Indian shows and movies are very impressive.

Plus Netflix is more expensive than prime or hotstar

Why would anyone smart subscribe to Netflix when you have Telegram😆
