We are ALL tempted to think he is Ravan. Not Ravan is very knowledgeable and he is at equal strength as Ram. MS is a sly like a jackal. But, calling him Ravan is very straight forward. So, NO. In my opinion, he is anything BUT Ravan.
Exactly! Ravan was vidwan and he knew everything all along. He did everything on purpose to activate his boon of die at the hands of L Vishnu.
So MS is definitely not the ravan.

No actually i also do think that VK has a very big possibility of being the villian himself. Nandini fear of truth coming out is too visible!!

(in the movie Rukh, Mom knows that Dad orchestrated his own accident and always stops their son from digging further as he's suspicious of his Dad's death. He does his own investigation and finds out it was planned all along)

I don’t think he is THE villain, but I think he is not as good and nice as Ram thinks he is. There is some secret about it which would hurt Ram immensely
