Exactly! Ravan was vidwan and he knew everything all along. He did everything on purpose to activate his boon of die at the hands of L Vishnu.

So MS is definitely not the ravan.

I am the only one in IF who wants VK to be grey, but why does he call Ram before the accident?
Why does the fool MS carry the nameplate?

No actually i also do think that VK has a very big possibility of being the villian himself. Nandini fear of truth coming out is too visible!!

(in the movie Rukh, Mom knows that Dad orchestrated his own accident and always stops their son from digging further as he's suspicious of his Dad's death. He does his own investigation and finds out it was planned all along)

Remember the episode where MS talks to shashi about the VK accident (after seeing the pic in RaYa wedding), MS said he thought the accident was an eye wash for insurance claim,

I don’t think he is THE villain, but I think he is not as good and nice as Ram thinks he is. There is some secret about it which would hurt Ram immensely
