Neil tries to explain to Abhi how Akshu must be feeling, but Abhi says that Akshu is everything for him, and yet he is nothing for her. His insecurities are once again clouding all of his judgements. This is so not true and Akshu has proved it time and time again. He goes on to describe Aarohi as a tumor that has to be cut out. This is such a perfect description. He knows that she is poisoning Akshu’s life, and he is doing everything he can do take her out. Again, his current state is both a mix of his extreme insecurities and his want to save Akshu. Abhi says that if it was the other way around, the Goenkas wouldn’t have forgiven him, and he isn’t even asking for much. He doesn’t have a problem with Akshu’s relationships, but the way they are handled. And, it is exactly this that bothers him… she goes overboard for Aarohi despite Aarohi constantly abusing her. He says that if Akshu is right, he is not wrong either. See, he does understand Akshu’s trauma and why she acts the way she does — he blasted the Goenkas for it. But, he is also frustrated and scared of losing her. He goes and waits in the park.
Meanwhile, Swarna and Kairav talk to Akshu. They say that maybe Abhi will change his mind, but if she doesn’t go, she will lose him forever. The expression on her face was the same as when Manjari told Abhi not to marry her. Neither one of them can even think about losing each other. Anupama calls Akshu and tells her to listen to her heart. Akshu says that if she says yes, she will lose a loved one, but if she says no, everything will be destroyed. Again, Aarohi is her sister, but Abhi is truly her everything.
Aarohi has run upstairs and Akshu talks to her. She says that she warned her everything would be ruined when the truth came out. Aarohi expects Akshu to not go, but Akshu says that she has insulted Abhi’s love enough and made enough mistakes. She has to gain her love respect now. She says that doesn’t mean she doesn’t love Aarohi. This scene was so perfect. Akshu values Abhi’s love so so much, but she isn’t always able to express it or show it in the most outward way, because that is how she has been conditioned.
There was never a doubt that Akshu was going to choose him. It is what she has always done.
Also, Aarohi’s ego is so deeply hurt now. Her manipulations aren’t working anymore, as Abhi’s love is so much stronger than her abuse. She cannot handle it. First the mandir confession, then the accident truth, and now this. Akshu is coming out of her clothes, and she is going to take revenge on Abhi for this. She is going to play some major kaand during the shaadi, which will be the breaking point for Akshu. She won’t tolerate it, and that will be the end. I think that will also be the point when Abhi realizes how deeply she loves him, because as of now, his insecurities are clouding all else.
Akshu comes to the park singing aap ki nazaaron. And this song is so perfect for Abhira. Abhi looked at Akshu and showed her that she was capable of being loved. And she accepts his condition. They hug, and Abhi thanks her. He says that he cannot believe it.
And this was one of the most important dialogues of the episode — Akshu says that it takes her time to make decision, but that doesn’t mean her love is any less. This is who Akshu is — she is slowly coming out of her traumas and burdens towards Aarohi. But, in the end, she always comes to Abhi. With time, it will become easier and easier for her.
She asks him to trust her, and he says the same. The problem is that in his mind, Abhi says that he wishes it hadn’t taken her so long. Again, he knew the decision would be hard for her — he knows Aarohi’s abuse, but now, his insecurities are at an all time high. The truth is that while Akshu trusts Abhi with her entire heart, he does not trust her… both due to his childhood traumas, her initial rejections, and now this MU of the accident. He gives grand lectures, but in the end, his trust fails.
The Gorillas are all dressed up and ready to move on as if nothing happened. Aarohi comes down the stairs with horror music in the background and we get the precap mehendi scene. She goes back upstairs and throws the money Abhi has given her on the bed and cries to Sirat. Again, she is going to take revenge from Abhi now, and that will be what takes Akshu into a roop that no one has ever seen from her before.
Mahima is back to her hurry up dialogues. It is as if the accident never even happened.
Abhi comes to Akshu and asks her if she is happy. Akshu says that they just talked about trust, so he should ask his heart. He says that when Akshu comes near him, he stops thinking. This is the problem — Abhi feels all emotions to the extreme when it comes to Akshu, so he stops using his brain. He becomes irrational and loses trust in his fear of losing her. Akshu says that she is so happy, but that doesn’t mean that her pain is gone. She says that they need to give each other time. She said nothing wrong here, but again, Abhi looks upset.
She trips and her hand falls into the water, erasing the mehendi that Aarohi put on her. This is a parallel to the first mehendi when Abhi washes off his mehendi from her hands. This time, Aarohi’s mehendi has been washed off. This entire track is about how Akshu will leave behind Aarohi for Abhi. This is just the start.
The precap is the same chandelier scene, but Akshu goes and hugs Aarohi, and again, Abhi is pissed. I mean her sister just got hit by a chandelier, so of course she is going to go make sure she is okay. Abhi cannot expect Akshu to just disown her and cut the tumor out in one day, but he has lost all patience.
PS- I’m unsure if Aarohi even got hurt in the precap lol.
