People think that South movie industry doesn't have nepotism or harassment or role snatching etc etc...go read some horror stories from there and also read about the big movie families of south and see if they don't have nepotism.....🤪

Also why are all the different movie industry being grouped together against BW......there is a Telugu indiustry, a Tamil industry,,,,Kannada...Malyalam...so its not that one movie industry is doing good....its the group which is being pitched against one industry...how is that even fair??😆

Nepotism: difference in south movies is that there are many, many non star kid actors and directors who are super successful. Telugu, yeah. It's full off nepotism. Malayalam movies have nepo kids, but the most successful ones are the complete outsiders. Even Fahad Faasil, the most successful star kid, got a film made by his daddy which flopped big time. Then he had to go live life on his own and return as a character actor first and work his way up. Plus, there is incredible amount of talent in him. No, not the level talent that gets lauded by Bollywood. But Soubin Shaheer, Nivin Pauly, Tovino Thomas, Parvathy, Anna Ben, Nimisha Sijayan are all complete outsiders.

Role snatching: very, very rare in Malayalam industry. Unless you're a Mammootty or a Mohanlal, you rarely get a say in who your co-star is. It's determined by the director.

Harassment: a huge problem in Malayalam industry. Good thing is now the women speak out. They shame the pervs. And there are decent male actors standing by the women. Lemme see one A-lister in Bollywood speaking out. All the women are like... casting couch? What is that?😆 BI, I don't want to derail this into an SRK convo, but rumor has it he rescued a female costar from the clutches of a director. He was forced to complete the film with said director but never did another one. But the superstar female still claims she never encountered anything like casting couch in Bollywood.

Fairness: Bollywood has the budget. Telugu does, too. Malayalam movies operate on 1/100th to 1/1000th the budget of Bollywood movies and still manage to churn out more technically sound movies with actual plot and good acting. When we talk fairness, let's remember the budget, too.

Indian Films came first and later came Bollywood and it appropriated the title Indian Film. South Indian film industries were and are doing their own thing and progressing in their own way. But when it comes to use of technology South Indians made better use of it back then and even more so now. Their movie making has not changed what has changed is the visibility. It is only now that rest of India is seeing South films. When it comes to scale of production they only talk about Moghal- e -azam in Hindi but many such large scale films were made in South India and now the rest of India has access to them. Hindi film industry had lot more resources in terms of money but they had not made use of technology like the way south Indians could.

It's high time Hindi speaking audience and Hindi film industry stopped believing that Hindi film industry is more superior. They were only superior only in terms of the market they command. It is just that now it is possible to sell goods across various markets is much easier than before.

Do the directors in HFI have a say on how their film should shape up? NO. In south Director is the captain of the ship and every director has his/her own stamp. Until this happens Hindi films will keep churning innumerable copies of KJo and Yash Chopra films.

Anna Ben is not an outsider.even superstars(when they did a show against producers association)n star kids like prithviraj n dulqar got banned.

Who is that female co-star of srk?

In bollywood too actresses say about casting couch.but nepo kids say that they have not faced it.it can be true as they are star kids.i think in south most of the actresses are outsiders.

Kangana says that though nepotism is there in south there is no bitching n role snatching as much as in bollywood. No idea.but compared to bollywood I think its true as non star kids are also getting royal treatment in South.

Not the audience, but Bollywood industry. There's a distinct tendency to mock southern film industry. Even on screen as in Om Shanti Om.

Also, the portrayal of regular South Indians in Bollywood movies used to be horrendous.

Then there's the appropriation. Drishyam? Bhool Bhulaiyya? Hera Pheri? All are claimed to be Bollywood's own. Now outright claiming RRR to be a Hindi movie.

Who is she related to? Damn good actress btw.

Prithvi is constantly getting himself into trouble😆

Which A lister in BW is speaking about casting couch? I doubt any of them would have the courage shown by you-know-who in Malayalam.

SRK's costar: Juhi. Still says she never encountered any

How prominent is Alia's role? She is the face of Bollywood to be fair? (RRR is a Telugu film. And the credit should also go to them)

Alia is playing Sita in RRR. How prominent was Sita in Ramayana? Your guess is as good as mine.
