and how i am deflecting the main topic?😳 didnt you mentioned aishwarya in your first post? Like i said, even though ranbir had some flops (like aishwarya) they will always consider the bigger star (Superstar) compared to their partners because their stardom is not just about boxoffice.

just i small reminder when abhi-aish got married abhi was doing better than aish but it still doesnt mean that he was a bigger star then her

Was Kajol really a bigger star than Ajay when they married? She was numero uno then but Ajay was equally successful..he may not be no.1 but he was a superstar in his own right back then too

As for Alia-Ranbir..debatable..i feel both are superstars and more or less equally successful

I do think Kajol was a bigger star than Ajay when they got married. He definitely wasn’t a superstar at the time of his wedding. Superstars at the time were SRK, Big B, Sunny Deol maybe and even Govinda more so than Ajay. Ajay was just another action hero like Akshay and Sunil Shetty.

And in response to others, at the time of their wedding Jaya Badhuri (before she was a Bachchan) was definitely a bigger star than her husband.

Ranveer got married after the three successes of SLB movies. I don’t think Deepika was a significantly bigger star than him compared to other couples on the list.

Abhi and Ash are a tricky example. Yes Ash was a bigger star regardless of her box office status, she was just a bigger star. But Abhishek brought in his last name. In terms of sheer status they were at the very least equal, and one could argue that Abhishek had the bigger status.

Same thing with RK and Alia except it leaves more room for debate. RK is a Kapoor but his last hit was a Hirani hit. Alia just had a big hit but it was a Bhansali hit, her last release before that was Sadak2. But she apparently has a bigger brand value. But Ranbir is a Kapoor. Back and forth and back and forth.

Ranbir is a bigger star than Alia.

And Saif was a bigger star than Kareena unless you credit her for movies in which she did flowerpot roles opposite Khans and other Superstars.
