Honestly speaking i am not very fond of south Indian movies and actors except bahubali i have not seen any other South Indian movie so when i saw him, i found him very different from other itv actors till now (i mean lookwise) and that,s what caught my attention oh! He looked so handsome and dashing in that promo

Hello everyone I have a question i was just watching a bts video of mhrw, then i saw during the shoot all crew members were males not even a girl was present there even in the bts of mashhoor banegi i did not see any girl so during photoshoots, or while shooting for a show or movie do female actors not get any female staff who helps them? Is it not necessary for their convenience?

This industry is predominantly male. Except a few make-up and costume assistants and female co-stars all the crew members are male. There are female producers, writers and creatives. But they are hardly seen on the sets.

This is true for all projects be it ITV or films. Till the 90s the bollywood actresses were always accompanied by their mothers. Now I think the PAs have replaced them.

I have my doubts on how much importance is given to convenience and safety of females in this setup.

During mhrw , i had seen shivangi hair stylist she was a female and twinkle the creative director also used to be present on sets. Apart from that the other female actors like Jaya , kirti , Amruta , mansi , sulochana too used to be present there. In serials female actors are more than male actors. Yeah we can say that technical crew had only males. But shivangi wasn't the only female present on the sets.

For mashhoor banegi I guess it had all male team so yes shivangi was all alone.

Entertainment industry is male dominant but things are changing now. It all depends on the requirement nows If a female is required in the team they will hire them

Maine jo bts dekhi thi mhrw ki in that she was all alone with all the male members may be late night shoot tha or show ki other female actors ka shoot nahi tha or main female co actors ki baat nahi kar rahi thi wo to hote hi hain but female actors ko dress up hone me help karne ke liye ya photoshoot time bhi bahut si aisi dresses hoti hain jo female models first time wear karti hain so to tell them how to wear those dresses kya female assistant hoti hai on shoot

We all know ke female actors ko outdoor shoot bhi karna padta hai be it for a show or a photoshoot and if only male members are there with them so what about their safety? How can they trust them? And now i am wondering if female actors know this before joining the entertainment industry, then how can they still take it as their profession, where their safety is not assured😔

Female assistance are definitely there for costumes and makeup. It's just that we have hardly seem them in the BTS.

I think the actors do know about the gender ratio on the sets before hand. And as Sunaina mentioned things are surely changing
