What's so special about War(2019)?

Apart from Hrithik, I mean.

I never understood how that movie grossed so much. Outlandish twists and turns, Tiger Wooden Shroff, and songs below average.

If the movie worked only because of how Hrithik looked and acted, I must say he deserves to be called the biggest superstar in the country.

For me, he looked so good here I could not take my eyes off him.

Nothing special. But it has crowd pullers like 🐅 Shroff and Hrithik, so it grossed some money. And action movies have a loyal fanbase.

The songs were chartbusters though, especially Ghungroo.

I'd say that it's mainly because it had the two biggest action stars/two of the best dancers in Bollywood in one movie.

Aside from Hrithik being Hrithik of course ;) That videoooo ❤️ And all he did was walk.

- Having both Tiger and HR in the movie (attracted both younger audience + older audience)

- Good songs

- Nice visuals in the movie

- First time audience got to see Tiger having such chemistry with anyone

It will be the same formula with pathan, big stars, nice locations, chart busting music, but no substantial story

The homoerotic tension.

I want to make fun of this movie but have you seen the trailer and songs of Heropanti 2? I can’t even begin to describe it!

thank you for saying that, it was a snooze fest story wise.

But Hrithik looked amazing. and the movie also does start off on a high note, and tricks you into thinking that there's something huge around the corner that might just redeem the parts that drag ..... until you get to the end of it and realize that that's all there is to it .... a half baked story with convenient twists.

It was entertaining

Nothing special whatsoever. The only thing that was memorable about the film was how hot HR looked and the way he outshone Tiger while dancing. Otherwise it was a plot stolen directly from Ekta Kapoor’s TV show.
