That's more than total lifetime collection of KGF Chapter 1 in Hindi version (44 Crores nett) and more than biggest opening a Bollywood film (War) has ever taken (50 Crores nett).

KGF 2 To Set ALL TIME RECORD On Day One

KGF 2 (Hindi) will set an all time record on day one as it collects over 50 crore nett in Hindi across India. The hindi distributed version is touching 50 crore nett and there will be another 1 crore nett or maybe more coming from the South mainly from Bangalore and North Karnataka (normally this is a Hindi distribution circuit but with South dubbed films it lands up with the South distributor). The collections in North Karnataka will also be an easy record for a Hindi film.

All records have practically fallen in every circuit and even the biggest circuit Mumbai will beat the previous best by around at least 10% and may eveb 20%. Gujarat / Saurashtra is looking at 6 crore nett plus total when 5 crore nett is a phenomenal total in the circuit. East Punjab where south dubbed films hardly have a market and this can be seen by dubbed film Raw released yesterday will easily set a record.

East India has never seen anything like it also. Odisha was expected but Bihar and West Bengal are also at record levels or near record levels. CPCI Rajasthan could have gone higher but these places are hugely single screen dominated so get capacity problems and they have lost cinemas due to the pandemic. Still CP Berar and CI have beaten War and Rajasthan may top or be very close.

A chain like Inox which is the second biggest multiplex chain will finish 25% higher than War for the Hindi version. The other big chains will have a lesser gap as War had better collections in the higher end multiplexes and PVR has more of these properties. These high ends were slower in the morning but by evening were showing excellent ocupancy In fair value this is a 57 crore nett plus total if it released like an outright Hindi film.

The final circuit numbers will come tomorrow and it will interesting to see how far it has beaten the likes of Bahubali - The Conclusion, Thugs Of Hindostan and War. Some circuits will obliterate the previous records.
