I noticed that in the March 1 episode, Raghav twice refers to Pooswami Old Age Home as a "vṛdhrāśrama" instead of a "vṛddhāśrama." At first, I thought, it's just the actor's real-life mispronunciation, the way Sai Ketan Rao says that he went to "Flim School" rather than "Film School," and Raghav also said in the February 16 episode that he saw Kirti on "Flim Nagar kā Town Road."
But in the March 4 episode, Krishna also says "vṛdhrāśrama." So, does Snehal Borkar have the same mispronunciation in real life? I have never met anyone who mispronounces this word. Have you?
Jaya says "vraddhāśrama" in the April 30 episode. Is that Geeta Tyagi's real-life mispronunciation?
Savitri and Pallavi say "vṛddhāśrama" correctly in the February 25 episode, and Savitri says it correctly in the February 27 episode. So, is this Mehandī Hai Racanevālī's effort to capture the Hyderabadi dialect of Raghav and Krishna and Jaya? Were the mispronunciations in the script and direction?
Please feel free to discuss any other examples of dialect on the show.
