I love the point you just made. He def makes time and space for her in his life and also despite their differences, its because he wants to. Their core values and understanding of love is the same. They both would do anything for people they love and will always keep them safe and happy. Their differences is where they learn from each other - one is closed book and the other needs to learn self respect - which they both are surely learning.The scene where Aryan puts their wedding pic in the frame was so heartwarming.
What struck me about this scene specifically is that despite whatever he says about being only her mentor, etc. the most amazing thing about ASR is that he continuously and without being asked/forced to makes SPACE for Imlie in his life.

Exactly..And he is not being rude, and the main point is he is not being over friendly with her too, because of her help.. Aryan is just being formal with BD and dekha jaaye toh handshake jahan hands are held is also a formal way of saying thank you, hello, etc etc.. Idhar toh BD held his hand and Aryan doesn't want to appear rude snatching his hand away, given her help and it is his expressions which states this out aloud.. But not to worry Imlie will save Aryan from BD's clutches and yeh haath Imlie chudvayegi woh bhi bade saleekhe se next time she sees BD putting dore on her ABP..
