I have watched a lot of itv shows on and off. Invested in some, casually viewed some others.but shiva and raavi as characters have felt so real to me. It's like they exist in an alternate world going through the trials and tribulations of life.what if it was not a daily soap that always had to have some high voltage drama? What if it was just the daily lives of shiva and raavi? Here are Some things i would love to see because i know it won't be shown in the show.
1) does raavi love to dance? Is she a trained dancer? She dances beautifully. I remember a dlg where she was asked to teach dance to disha. Imagine she is rehearsing for a dance performance for her clg fest. Dancing her heart away with a smile on her face. Twirling with happiness without a care about the world. Being the carefree 22 yr old she should have been, had life been not so hard.
2) a report card falls down while cleaning. Shiva pandya.batch topper. His eyes get misty as he puts it back. An engineer he could have been. Something he was passionate about in a family of commerce and marketing graduates and post graduates. Was shiva curious about machines and gadgets as a kid? Was he one of those kids who would break things just to fix them? But all left behind for family. A dream unfulfilled. The family which he loved to bits. Is it all over then? Who knows.maybe. maybe not.afterall now he has someone with him who loves him to bits.
3) parents. The only form of love in the world that is pure and unconditional.is maasima the same as maa? How would she know? Why is it so difficult to call kaki as maa? Something doesn't feel right when she associates the word maa with these two mother figures in her life. She sighed as she saw a pic of her late parents. Her mother looked just like her. More beautiful infact.she looked at shiva sleeping besides her. A small smile crept up her face. Was it possible to feel happy and sad at the same time? She wondered. He is family now.a family which she had craved for right from the beginning.she is home. She thought as she snuggled into him in a cold winter night and his arms wrapped around her as if it was meant to be.
4) he wasn't one of those well groomed filmy heroes. But he had done this once before for her.so what's the harm in doing so again? He was apprehensive about going to raavi's friend's dinner party. What if they judged him? It didn't matter to him anyways, but what if she felt embarassed because of him? He looked at the mirror as he tried to knot the tie. He gave up and his eyes fell on a box. He opened it.it had a black check shirt, a grey vest and cargo pants with a note from his chipkali
" Wear this and be ready my bandar. And for god's sake don't roll your sleeves up subconsciously in the party as you always do. I don't want the girls drooling over those biceps"
- love. Chipkali.
