honestly i wont have liked it at all if they showed ram/priya sending vedika to the mental asylum it would have been totally out of character. but not that i liked it that nandini was the one who sent vedika to asylum. mental health is a sensitive topic sadly itv takes this very lightly. now i think there is a possibility for my theory to be right, nandini being involved in the murder. she suddenly got hell bent to get vedika out after knowing vedika got to know about the truthI hate it when they portray medical & mental health matters with staggering inaccuracies, most of which can be got right by doing some quick basic research - if one of the writers just calls up a doctor & tuns thru the intended scenes, they can do this in less than an hour!
