Most of the serials show independant women who are quite influential within their lots and have a keen business sense.

Their men get all their moral equations, decision making and business acumen from their women at home 😆. Its an all encompassing free education at home while you are fooling around with your wife. A few "bhaashans" from Parvati bhabhi for morality, some good thoughts on decision making from Tulsi and of course business and economics from Pammi 😆 > remember the "Pammi project" Kavya started.
Damn, those lucky blokes,no need to go to school, or give tests or take student loans.

ekta needs to get a brain in terms of storylines; sure her male characters are dumbasses but it is great to see strong, capable, level-headed women on television. actually, it should be quite inspirational for women (not in terms of getting married a zillion times to a zillion different people) and i fully support it. it shows how women are moving ahead, are emotionally stronger etc. so I don't mind.

besides there are plenty of vamps i.e. nitya, pammi that also portray women quite negatively. and plenty of good guys i.e. yug. but ekta has done something really good in making sure that the main main lead in her serials, the actual protagonist, is mostly the female lead. it's good for a change and a break from male-dominated television that we have been fed for past 50 years.
