Neither. The popular theory in forum is Nandu’s dhoka - Ram came to know abt her involvement in his Dad’s ‘accident’.

But I am not convinced coz for Ram rain = love so if he hates the rain he must be heartbroken on acvount of Pri.

So iska theory in forum is that Pri sided with Nandu after the dhoka reveal (likely under Namdu threatening to harm Ram). So that is why Ram is heartbroken & hates rain.
