Also during Friday’s auto monologue, Priya’s FB should have included Ram’s recent interactions with and about V, such as he agreeing with Pri to send her to Manali, he clarifying about V’s saree, he being strict with V when she blamed Akki, he asking her to leave & contact Adi or Nandu if needed, because the matter is not just about whether Ram is good or not, it is also about his feelings for V, Maitri not just revealed about V being his ex, she also claimed he wants to go back to her.

Exactly! If sara had given her a more objective view of things, talked a little from her pov, tried to make her understand why vedika is not important instead of Ram's jaap, priya would have understood btr. Also it would have given a more impactful realisation to her.

That's what sara do, force her opinions on priya instead she should let priya come to these conclusions on her own.

If Priya's FBs and monologue have been a little more clear wrt to writing we would have seen that Priya had come to a realisation that Ram and vedika are not a thing.

It's a matter of the past for him now!

When she went to ram, she had already realised in her heart, then she saw vedika got angry and a little confused but when Ram ran after her all day, she concluded that what maitreyi thought was not true.

wasnt her main target to let priya know the truth so that she can go away but she wanted ram to know heh?

i never saw someone this dumb 🤣🤣🤣

I pointed it out too when the episode was aired. But I realised (after the cabin scene on Friday) that it is because V is delusional. Nandini concluded that Ram is in love with Priya much much before and decided that there is no point in targeting him, as long as she was making plans, she always targetted Priya (creating multiple opportunities for Priya to see the kangan with Pri, etc), Whne it comes to V, she never believed N’s words that Ram is in love with Pri, she was delusional that Ram still loves her, that’s why when she made the plan, she thought making Ram remember his love for her will help her. If you notice the cabin scene, you will see how inspite of his cold demeanour and body language, she kept harping about their love. That’s what made me think she is really unhinged.

tbh entertainment wise it isnt a bad episode

and as about priya trusting/not trusting ram i have a lil diff pov from others here

in usual shows they show when the fl sees the ml hugging his ex, the female lead will just throw things and make noise without even wanting to know what happens, ml sees fl hugs the ex its even worse and goes all mcp , violent and what not. i honestly m not fond of such toxic way to handle matters.

this show did much better in that sense(didnt expect to see this in an ekta show), they showed priya is upset on ram but she didnt had to go violent or make a scene, all she did was she walked away from there. there r like 2 things here, priya since first epi is shown to be tough but she also never pointed out on and lashed on people without valid reason, well she wont have been wrong either by lashing out on ram seeing his ex hugging him didnt seem right at all, she did the right thing just walk away. and also its very clear now that ram has became her weakness, she has clearly melted towards him thats why she isnt harsh on him at all. she has two things going on right now on one hand she seen his good sides not to forget she has seen bad guys around her except for her lil brother all her life, so she is not used to his goodness, also priya seems to know ram is book-smart but not street-smart thats why he melts and gets influenced very easily, so she goes soft on him remembering how he did a lot for her family. but then she sees the ex connection , and the worse she saw was the hug, but she has no concrete evidence that ram is cheating or whatsoever so she just cant make big decisions like this, she knows that at least he isnt cheating her.

and one thing i actually kinda liked in friday’s epi was when ram told vedika i dont want to turn our past beautiful moments to bitter ones, not that i m ram-vedu shipper but the fact that a break up can be mutual and the guy doesnt need to hold grudges on the girl for the breakup that is real to his character, but unfortunately vedika didnt deserve it at all. if they shown ram holding vedika’s hand and dragging her out of his office or pushing her away that wont have been true to his character even if fans would have applauded him for that. and also a guy who used to do vedu jaap in epi 1 will just go and push her away few months later its kinda strange. but it seems after this week vedika track will be on hold for the time being she is wearing the same outfit she wore in the bts where she was taken away. also at least ram dared to say it on vedika’s face why were you even recording and to go away!

but yeah i agree ram and priya suddenly in romance mood is kinda strange 😆 i dont understand how mature couples work like so i cant say much 😆 but the way they handled situations has been in mature way in most cases. maybe the protection thing and also them both wanting physical intimacy since the pre-holi episodes might be the reason behind the sudden pace 🤣

i will conclude by saying, i prefer a fast paced storyline than seeing full of never ending nandu-vedu kaands for 2-3 months

Nobody here is demanding that Priya should rant or create a scene or even quarrel with Ram, so comparison with other shows is not relevant here. All we are demanding is a composed conversation which has not happened.

Solving relationship issues by getting intimate without conversations is not maturity, it is what teenagers do.

Like doodle and i said, priya wants to be with ram and when Ram came after her leaving vedika, bought the auto, remembered his address hugged her she realised that Ram was actually telling her the truth.

The thing is there should have been verbal communication between them, not only an implied one.

Priya was in the war of heart vs head and her heart won when Ram refused to leave her side. Now she wants to listen to his explanations but might not ask for one now since ram told her the difference between the hug he does with her and the one he does vedika.🤷

Also from the script pov, priya not asking for an explanation anymore could also be a reason for Ram to realise that she wants to move forward and when MS kand gets revealed he will also give priya benefit of the doubt for hiding it bcz she gave him one for vedika.

I think he was about to talk but Adi interrupted. Cinematic liberty at its best! Things are so subtle here that sometimes I feel it requires a lot of understanding from viewers.

The problem here is they cater to a range of audiences - some are teenagers; some are young adults; some are educated; some are not so educated; some are mature; some are not so mature; some can read between the lines; some needs to listen explicitly.

I am NOT defending today's episode; everyone knows here that I wanted Pri to be her usual self. But, we also need to understand that Pri is NOT Kashaf though they keep showing us parallels like today, Pri admiring how Ram takes care of her family the same way Kashaf acknowledged.

I agree with Ritika that they are trying to show trust and faith through parallels of each harboring a secret in their hearts expecting the other to understand.

1. Ram kept the V secret in fear of losing Pri forever.

2. Pri kept the secret of the MS accident in fear of losing Ram forever.

For example, there was this scene today where Ram made sure Pri shouted from the top of her lungs and she did that which actually calmed her down. I witnessed the same scene in House when Dr. House took Dr. Jessica Adams to a room full of junk and gave her a baseball bat and told her to break everything in that room. After she acted upon that advice, she cooled down.

So, with the police, Pri justified what Ram was trying to do all along. He forgets everything if she is angry and tries to clear the misunderstandings. That is Pri's maturity like Ram showed during the kangan kaand. He will also reciprocate when MS thing will be revealed.

P.S. I actually loved the way Ram showed the difference between a hug with a lover and a hug that is consoling a friend.

This makes a lot of sense... Kind of fill up the gaps in the episodes flow. Thank you!!

Saw the episode today. I liked it though I was surprised at Priya accepting the kiss😃. Perhaps this is logical because ever since she came into her senses after knowing the truth, she was not into all self pity mode.

She trusted Ram deep inside but it was more of an anger which was leading to her reaction.

The convo wise i agree as i mentioned the transition has been weird, the intimate thing was out of no where 😆 but the chuha thing is funnu 🤣but since i have seen way worse episodes n had enough of vedika i will accept it 🤣 for me (since i m yet to watch full epi saw clips based on that) its above average for me 😆 sorry i have pretty low expectations especially after the kachori kaand 🤣

Well explained!!! I guess we will now just need to read between the lines and imagine they having these conversations in their head.

Just that the way they are running with the tracks it is impacting badly many important sequences that would have been appreciated between them.

See as i said, the the scene with sara at the bakery was suppose to be the one where priya will realise that Ram was not lying to her and vedika is no one important to him.

She was suppose to realise that Ram is loyal to her if her own sister is involved in everything. But that scene didn't leave that impact to us. And henceforth, everything fell flat from there.

So when Priya saw ram and vedika she was not hurt very deep just angry that he is still meeting vedika even as friends.

But the script is so flat that these scenes are not giving us that satisfied feeling.

That's why she was even ready to go with him to farmhouse, so that they can talk alone. If she knows he is trying to pacify her and is ready to leave everything behind until she talks to him, that means she knows that Ram is innocent.

Where is that realisation from her? If they talked in the auto, car anywhere, there should have been something.

If couples ever understood each other with out communication like Priya and Ram there would never be any separation and divorce would be wiped out of our society. This portrayal will work in such shows but never in real life. If any of them are silently accepting the other's flaw then its out of fear or that they do not have a support system to rely on.

His justification about the type of hug is not right. It doesnt help to understand why he hugged her that too when he cant even accept her ex talking to her. He hugged Vedika after knowing what she had done.

I just hope that he accepts her silence on he accident just like how she accepted the hug.

Again I am just not convinced on the hype that is always created around Priya's mistake .
