Ok managed to watch the epi early today so had to post some thoughts cuz it was a pretty crackling one with all the arrest drama😆
They jumped right into it from the get go with showing Ajeet and Swaran getting arrested in parallel in their respective homes. Ajeet's grandson is getting harassed by gali ke bacche and his reputation is also being slandered all over with people painting "Dadaji bane Majnu" on the walls of his house .
Swaran's arrest was shown in a more hard hitting manner as she is rendered numb in shock for a bit that her sons fell even lower than she had imagined....that entire slow motion sequence of her being walked to the jeep was some superb acting from Sangita again.
Then came the police station sequence. Ajeet again wasn't left with much to do other than try to question the police inspector about the charges and then being sad seeing Swaran's state as she is also dragged in. The policewaale were shown in the ultimate caricaturish fashion as corrupt guys who just want to drag/harass people by abusing their power......mocking Swaran as "Mrs. Swaran Lamba" - the way Swaran closed her eyes in pain there was again some ace acting from Sangita....the near relentless assault on Swaran's soul and identity. A double edged sort of pain I guess given her past with Ajeet but to now have her name joined to his in such a way at this stage of their lives....the humiliation of it when she's mourning her beloved husband.
Finally she rounded on her sons after being directly accused of murdering Bedi Saab....I loved how she charged at them at one point but the police held her back....the way they showed the build up of her disgust and anger at the heinous lies dripping from the mouths of her sons.
Finally lawyer lady came to the rescue (I'm still not sure about her name....lol) but kya SAHI dhoya police waalon ko👏....called out that they have no proof or arrest warrant to drag Swajeet to the police station and all the boasting they are doing of the IPC dafaas they will lagaao on Swajeet are all empty threats.....I hope this lady sticks around rather than only popping in for on off appearances....lol
Another highlight was Swaran FINALLY slapping that disgusting Vikram 👏👏.....I pretty much jumped in my seat in excitement when that moment came....haha😆....itne dino se is nazaare ka intezaar tha and kya SAHI chaped maari Swaran ne....then the way she pointed a finger in his face before just turning away in disgust and stumbling out of the police station....that shameless loser still kept staring back at her with an entitled look.
Then it was time for Bedi Saab to make an appearance to boost Swaran's sagging morale....another fine piece of acting from Sangita as she showed a Swaran stumbling in shock outside and then finally falling to the ground.....Bedi Saab appeared to remind her that girke uth bhi sakte hain and you don't give up on the battle over losing just one fight.....he also reminded her of the strength inside her as well as the fact that he's always with her in spirit.
This gave Swaran enough strength to return to her neighborhood and face all the media frenzy outside her door.....she coolly walked through the crowd trying to harass her. A highlight here was when the reporters asked her to apologize to her sons and she was like who? 😆......I wish she had said then only that she has no sons.....baat khatam.
Anyways the epi ended on her stating that her sons only want SG to sell it for money and she refuses to do that....since it is her husband's nishaani.
Precap mein she is saying she is divorcing her sons😕😆....lol bhai isse achha bol deti my sons are dead to me.....yeh divorcing sounds a little ajeeb😆....but anyways term jo bhi ho, as long as she officially cuts off from them, good enough.
