Not only sharing a room, it's how they stand for each other outside their bedroom..what their goals and what they want to do ?? Exploring physical comfort. After marriage both have rights on each other and both are on a position to answer each other - on a employee and friend zone, you can't cross certain line.

Slowly they will understand each other and like you said they will get some push to realize and express their feelings towards each other.

Also the whole Kitni Batein scene was too good! It reminded me that Aryan was probably realizing or falsely thinking that he hadn't given an out to Imlie and it had actually been Guddiya. So with the 500 emotions he was feeling, he was probably thinking how he needed to once again muster up the courage to give her a proper out. Thus the pre-cap which I am thankful for.

Also can people give me more kuddos to my OS coming true☺️. Like I wrote a whole scene where Imlie over hears Guddiya and BM talking about kicking Arpi and Narmada out and ruling over Aryan. It did end up motivating Imlie to get married to Aryan and just like Sundari had said in my OS, this ghaddi was still being the best sacrificial lamb she could be.
