i am not sure about her fame though. Actually as far as i remember me and many other people loved shayantani. She eas acing as naagin. People really wished to see her more than leads.
But rashmi and anita's entry killed that character. That was the major downfall. I stopped watching post that as i did not had anything to adore in the show. Even rashmi as a chudail was not so great so it could not fetch those viewers who left.
I will not blame rashmi but i think its majorly exit of shayantani and jasmine turning vish and rashmi as negative characters.
Turning nayan who was supposed to be positive into negative was a huge impact.everyone saw potential nayan as lead instead of nia. š

Honestly I always enjoyed watching Anita in Naagin. Not the case with Rashmi and Jasmin though. Rashmi is a far better actress than Jasmin IMO but she was as bad as her in Naagin 4 and this time too.Originally posted by: firewings_diya
