No. Rashami's entry increased the TRPs from 1.9 to 2.2-2.3 which was the last two weeks before lockdown. After lockdown, Shalaka's role was degraded beyond a limit which led to a downfall.

But rashmi and anita's entry killed that character. That was the major downfall. I stopped watching post that as i did not had anything to adore in the show. Even rashmi as a chudail was not so great so it could not fetch those viewers who left.

I will not blame rashmi but i think its majorly exit of shayantani and jasmine turning vish and rashmi as negative characters.

Turning nayan who was supposed to be positive into negative was a huge impact.everyone saw potential nayan as lead instead of nia. 😆

The ratings decreased from Anita's entry. But the reason for the downfall is, the Naagin is not at all strong. She is a big fool who easily loses to enemies. In other seasons (1,2,3,5), the Naagin was winning and so the TRP was high.

It's true that there is a lot more scope for Nayantara and Manyata as a character. The makers should not have destroyed them and should have kept as Brinda-Manyata-Nayantara taking revenge together.

Nahi nahi, I also don't think she's gonna stay for much longer. Already 500+ logon ki cast hai inki, all of them mostly useless and hardly getting any screen-space. Adding on another cast member to this already too-long list doesn't seem feasible to me. Baaki toh Ekta hi maalik hai. 😆

Also Director Ranjan Sir gave an interview a few days back, he said that there's a chance that all OG Naagins may return in the climax in final showdown like a battle. Like maybe all Naagins fighting all Asurs, desi Avengers types 😆

Haan I think Shivangi or Shivanya returned for Bela's season finale na, and then Bela returned for maybe S4 finale or S5 first epi idk.

But this time they're saying ki saari old Naagins bula lenge lol. Must be bluffing only. 130 crores ke budget me se 100 crore toh inn sabko saath bulane me hi chala jayega 😆
