Since these were never a part of our Indian culture & traditions & we inherited them from the West...since we are living in a progressive world which is constantly evolving,so is it okay to merge them with our customs at the cost of destroying the basic fabric of the Indian society?😔😠

If you ask me, at the end of the day, it is an individual choice whom s/he wants to get married to. Parents, family, society can give opinions and advice but beyond that should not impose their own will.
Religion, caste, faith etc are very personal beliefs and it is best to let each person decide what they want to follow or believe.
I don't personally believe that inter-cast or inter-religion marriages are destroying our culture. It is intolerance amd insensitivity to others' opinion which is weakening our society.
Having said this, at a personal level, I would NEVER be open to marrying anyone whom my mother is against...coz for me nothing is more imp than her. Then again, that is also a personal choice. I would not judge anyone who goes against family for love

Dekh..mujhe lagta hai ki ladke ya ladki dono ke liye shaadi unki life ka changing moment hota hai.. Aur ye sabse intimate rishta bhi hota hai..jisme sab bahut trasparent hota hai dono ke bich.. Chahe vo kisi bhi perspective se ho.. To dono pe hii uss rishte ko thopna galat hii hai.. Vo rishta jo sabse bada hota hai life mai usme ghutan hona sahi nahi hota na..🙄
Aur rahi baat elop hone ki to mujhe lagta hai ki har maa papa apne bacche se itna pyaar to karte hii hai ki unki khushi ke liye kuch bhi kare.. To aap ek baar koshish karke dekh sakte hai ki vo maan jaaye.. You know ki manane ki koshish kare.. Agar saacha pyaar karte hai to vo mana hii lenge.. Aur agar nahi maane aur baat pride pe aa jaaye to bhagne bhi kisi hadd tak sahi bhi hai..🙄
