My mother is from Pakistan so I can read and write in Urdu.My father is from Turkey🤔 he doesn't know Urdu Urdu phir bhi easy hai but Turkish language 🤢

I was surprised (and glad) how commonly English was spoken or at least understood when I was traveling in Istanbul. But in Buyukda and Bodrum, it was difficult...

well turkey mein schools mein English compulsory subject nahi hai 😑 even there kisi ko yeh bhi nahi pata ky boy ky liye He or girl ky liye She use karty hain 😅

It's fine - why should they learn English? It's a colonial hangover in places like India and other former British holdings.

Why does she call you aunty then? I thought peope there mostly don't bother with the formalities related t addressing relations with the proper terms
