The magenta was a giveaway from Ram that his affection towards Viper was unreal. An illusion. I always feel Pri loved Neeraj even for a moment but Ram never actually loved V. His love was an idea of Yash Chopra movies which was a mirage.

As I said, his silence meant a thousand words yesterday. Today his monologue and "she knows her home" was a major take-home point. And emphasizing that Viper's home is NOT Kapoor mansion.

I think he is gauging and screening nandini now, he is silent bcz he doesn't want to create any other drama right after the kangan kand.

As i said ke keeps his cool until things go out of proportion, and his reaction in kangan kand had warned nandini for now.

He clearly said he doesn't want any such repeat again. So he knows that nandini will be quiet for some time.

And to your point.. while choosing the colour he says he will choose fuchsia… says purple… it is not magenta…
