Firstly it's always fun to end up liking a show jiske promos humne mercilessly mock kiye ho🤣.....do you remember how much we mocked Imlie ke intro waale and bigamy promos?😆 Khair us panauti ko chhodo ab.
Anyways, so is show mein I'm getting PB vibes which I guess duhh cuz wohi PH hai toh shuru ke 100 epis toh theek thaak hi honge😆....baad mein shuru karenge gaslighting jaise achhe bhale HS ke character ko gaslight kar diya tha....lol
So the girl (Diya) basically has Nakku kind of makeup and hair and thoda woh Nakku wala concept bhi use kiya hai ki people lech after her even though they think she's dark....simply cuz she's unmarried and 30+ in age....and iske basis pe she ends up cutting her long hair in despair/anger one day just like Nakku bhi apni beauty ko kosti thi....in this case, her hair was the one thing Diya considered beautiful about herself but isne woh bhi kaat diye gusse mein ek din cuz she was upset. Parents are not shown prejudiced faltu mein and family bahut supportive hai iski - Maa bas fikar karti hai ki shaadi kaise hogi and just generally keeps telling her to put on face packs to get glow on her face....lol
Diya tries to focus on her career and takes pride in her intelligence and education even though she runs into prejudice about her skin color wherever she goes. First week mein they showed a mix of people being racist to her at work/colony mein etc. She's the oldest sister...but other two sisters are nice so far too. Middle one is already married with a baby on the way and the youngest also so far seems to genuinely love her Didi....lol but aage pucca pange honge the way things are going.
Phir hai ML....Armaan is 35 and divorced so that also adds a different touch to the story so far.....they aren't just showing the usual case of beta toh heera hai toh usko dark skinned girl se nahin shaadi karva sakte blah blah....yahaan prejudice is coming from both sides a bit since Armaan is being judged for being divorced too and his family thinks he won't get good matches cuz of that toh Diya will be a "compromise"....lol Armaan is oblivious to all this and usko Diya waise hi mil gayi accidentally at a restaurant and he was intrigued by her.....their interactions have been shown subtly and nicely so far....Diya also ended up liking him but then rishte ka confusion ho gaya from his family's side toh ab uska drama chal raha hai with his family pushing him to marry the younger sister Palki instead....lol
What I'm liking is that Armaan is openly calling out the age difference ki that girl is way too young for me toh main kaise kar loon shaadi....lol he's calling out ki woh social media ke zamaane ki hai aur main slambook waale zamaane ka😆.....but iski family phir bhi isko pressure kar rahi hai. He likes Diya but isko MU hai ki Diya doesn't want to get married, period😆....baaki drama ki koi kami nahin since iski ex-wife bhi hai mix mein....lol looks like iski college sweetheart thi and love marriage ki but it still all fell apart so he's kinda put off from shaadi for now....bas family ke pressure mein thoda bahut maan raha hai reluctantly....his funda is ki you need to get to know the character/personality of a person you have to spend your life with....seems like he was burnt badly when it came to his first wife toh uske basis pe he's talking about knowing the soul of a person more. Jitna mujhe samajh aaya hai looks like his wife cheated on him and broke his heart but it's not fully clear.....woh ex-wife bhi kaafi unstable vibes deti hai with her rotating list of boyfriends/one-night stands....she's become friends with Diya cuz they think they are both in "no judgement" zones about each other's life fundas😆
Anyways abhi epis have reached Holi and Armaan aa gaya hai Diya ko Holi ka rang lagaane as of yesterday....lol nice epi. Usse pehle thoda MU bhi hua tha inka beech mein where Diya thought he was some loose character guy who jumps from one girl to the next but ab woh thoda clear ho gaya hai I guess....story currently stands at Armaan's family trying to do his rishta with Palki (Diya's youngest sister) toh families mil rahi hain for that aajkal but Armaan is trying to find ways to get out of the rishta cuz he's clear that uska koi match nahin hai with Palki....but then he also likes Diya toh all this gives him an excuse to go to Diya's house and meet her toh he's going with that flow for now😆. Woh Palki initially claimed she wants to teach Armaan a lesson for supposedly rejecting her sister but ab khud she's started liking Armaan....lol toh drama hoga aage I think.
Anyways good show to watch for now if you also want to jump in....KKIS se better and consistent pace hai iska for now and not insane levels of loud drama also....bas woh Armaan ki sister is the main loud/negative character so far par baaki manageable hai. I wish KKIS would manage its pace better given all the positivity the show has otherwise.

I will get back to you on this once I catch up.. for now the few clips I have seen are nice I like..the holi wala looks very simple and pyara sa ..them just being happy lagaooing color going round and round and woh bit at hospital/ some bus station/ train station in start Im yesterday's epi the waythey were interacting back karke on the opposite ends of the bench and then woh jo smile they shred in between emotional talk at the same time ek dum nice tha even though I do not know the context as tv mute pe tha but I did like the visual.. and woh restaurant wala scene I have seen on hotstar as preview to the show and liked it..bade open minded dikhe thay and Arman has an easy going vibe about him too. I want to catch up ..
And 🤣 at us doing apni khudki chop at times by being sab troll worthy hain and then finding content aajkal be it kkis or this..isi loye toh trollbaaz Hain and yes imlie bhi but chalo jaane do..🤣 it was good while it lasted
