I feel while it is natural that Ajit interrogated over an outsider being the sole guardian of the will named after Swaran pertaining to the property & financial matters, I still feel he's still seemed half-convinced for some reason despite descrying Kanwal's sons erratic demeanor. I think he might get wind of this more prior to Swaran in the upcoming episodes. Especially after trying to comprehend the letter, perhaps he needs more proper observation & ridiculing by the sons.
Otherwise, the behavior of her sons of being overtly sugary, begging for forgiveness, shedding crocodile tears, etc still seemed to still influence her which is what Kanwal exactly wrote about his anticipation in his will. She is defensive but does get affected --- not necessarily, pingponged but she is more so or less affected as a mother.
It's gonna take a long road for Swaran to decipher Kanwal's action. Neelu was right --- she never questioned Kanwal because she trusted him without a question. Though, Swaran still seemed to contest over this action which was nicely executed as opposed to inserting the sons' angle which is, a stereotypical expectation.
