Agree, I love arohi engagement & mehendi episodes because abhi was at his assertive best and loved his đone liners, especially where he says "I don't have the habit of getting trapped in the rules set by others" wat a đdialogue.
Also I think pr expressions were apt to her character. The kind of love, concern and pain she has for arohi is OTT.
If you remember abhi once thrashed a guy because he was insulting his GF, then abhi says "you found love easily that's why you have no value", I think that's apt for akshu as well, I always feel she takes his affections for granted.
@ green - whoa, those were really good episodes with HC at his finest!đI often wonder where has that man gone?! this is why I keep saying he has compromised so he can have Akshu in his love which ever way he can. I think he will say that to her at one point during this accident story line.
I agree that kinda love is OTT but I have seen in real life some sisters so close and loving there is no place for a third person.đ Not saying this is the case here, but it is time Akshu let go. I am hoping this story line would lead her to that place.
@ red, to me it is more that she is just not able to love him as passionately as he does. I guess yes to some it will look like taking it for granted. In that case she will only learn the value of his love if it looks like he will walk away from her. But I hope not, I hope she will learn to finally give into the love that is bubbling away inside and see it for what it is; a love for a man that she, as a woman, is entitled to fully feel and embrace without any baggage/person coming between them. That love should be her uppermost concern and nurtured so that it blooms and thrives. I also think her trauma plays a part in why she is not able to be as expressive as Abhi. She lost her parents at a young age, and then Sirat traumatically and I think Akshu is scared to feel so much just in case she loses Abhi. Maybe she is using her blind love for Arohi as a way to keep Abhi at a distance. No matter what, the choice to be fully in or out is one she will be facing soon.
Donât worry about tagging me, I am in the forum so much that eventually I read all the great posts.
Even the Ar-Ak interactions Ak comes off manipulated, unheard and weak. All she counters with is âchup ho jao Aaruâ. Maybe this is her character and we have to make peace with that.
PR in yesterdayâs episode did not impress me and I hope I can say that in this forum safely. Sheâs played a negative role before so there must be more in PR that is not being tapped ATM. HC comes off so strong and she needs to up her game for it to come across as a powerful scene.
I havenât watched Bepanah except for snippets. The FL did not appeal to me so I couldnât watch it.đ Also I think the ML was married to two women at the same time and again sometimes things like that dont appeal to me. But HC was amazing in it. That room of his was perpetually in shadow and dark.
Afterthought: wrong show that was Humsafars not Beypanah sorry!

Hi Ash,đ€
Thank you.â€ïž Sorry, I forgot to tag you but so glad you read my post.
@ pink, I tried to put it in the context of the day - mandir, wrong card, arohi being yelled at, then the DUI car drive, and etc but still there was a lacklustre air to Akshu. I think it could be a case of her being overwhelmed, a snowball effect. Though I have noticed PR is not so good at emoting emotionally and that even her voice and expressions don't match often especially in intense scenes. Whatever it is, I hope it gets sorted.
I don't think Arohi creators want her to be a full blown villain (not at the moment) hence the emotional see-sawing. It is also why I think she may yet end up surprising us. (I talked more about the writing side of things in the Holi thread by Rsrockz). What I know, given the first promos for the show, Arohi is an integral part of the story/show and will be so for some time. Here we can see she is still straddling the middle, despite her actions, and we won't know until the last moment which way she will go. Without her, where is the conflict? She is the prop that will make Akshu stronger and wiser.
HC was a dream in that episode. He does intense so well. Don't know if you saw his Bepannah, his acting when he found out about his deceased wife's affair was brilliant. I loved his mehendi scene with Akshu where he tried to wash it off, the emotions were sizzling out from the screen. â€ïž

If the story goes like Abhi giving her strength against countering Ar all the time making her stand for herself and their love, the growth will be continuous in Ak. If it's like always Ar pulls ak in her side and simultaneously manjari pulls abhi towards her side again churning for 50 episodes we will get. Two times it happened for tilak1 and tilak2 and now after tilak3 giving all foreshadowed diakogues and hints. With tandav episode in his conflicts against her family love he determined to get only Ak in his life and next is shadi fixed. Now with Ar third round of churning what we get to be seen..and along with episodes Ar is raising her level.she redeemed herself for sirats death but another accident started. If she realises that for unknown deed a person blames what's the emotional torture on her like ak took it for years. But i doubt if cvs give it or not..if they make Ar positive there is nothing to go ahead. So she raises her greyness lil more and will be blaming abhira for her condition as she can't achieve her dreams because of their love. If ak stands dumb again and abhi pulls her that's again a torture without growth on her..if she knows truth she won't hide it from abhi. HC nails all scenes and i watched hi from left right left. Bepanah he rocked as Aditya Hooda. But here total limelight is HC as abhi and Ar is the main for the story to run ahead with Ak as in between nothing much in her. When both sisters come in scene there is next khaand rolling through Ar and ak involved in it. If we go to Ichenodde plot Vamp raises her toxicity slowly and till end much nonsense and damage is done to all. Even if Ar is redeemed again she is raised slowly .
Akshu needs to find her own strength to counter Arohi. If she depends on Abhi to give her the strength then he becomes like a crutch to her, she will become dependent but if she learns by herself then soon she will fully stand up to Arohi. The learning is a growth for her.
I doubt that will happen. Her love for her sister is deep and abiding and has gone on for years, tough to stop or break it abruptly. First she needs her blinders off. I think this accident line will do that. Maybe instead of jail Arohi loses her medical licence and goes to a rehab clinic . YRKKH is not known for toxicity or an outright villain so I think Arohi will have shades of grey running through her continuously.
đI cannot handle a tilak 4 or 5!đđ€Ł Please let them go straight to the mandir...though I would love to see a proper mehendi scene between Abhira and I want Abhi to do his mad dance really loved that...again that dance showed how wild he was at being deprived of Akshu in his life (at that time)
Tilak4 ,5 are waste. Already they made shadi a nonsense with this accident. If they don't clean it now throughout the shadi preparations the darr will be there and Ar ka planning. Whatever ar is she is the most toxic on yrkkh. Whoever villains came are sent out whitewashing or to jail. But Ar going to jail now is doubtful for me as she did unintentionally. Though it's a crime . She should need medication for her depression orelse she kills total plot with her madness. Ak has to stand orelse she is dumb heroine taking help from Hero to getup or standup. I pity seeing Ak what is she after being Nairas daughter. Her weakness is ar which she can't come out of it..unless abhi is in danger Ak won't realise it . She can take pain for herself through Ar no doubt bit not for abhi. That's where her transformation starts.Originally posted by: Dreamygal301

@ at green, it is a pattern set from their childhood. The child Arohi was a terror, I felt sorry for the child Akshu. That little girl actress was great and looked so sad all the time. It is a lesson Akshu had learnt so well that it is now affecting her own happiness. Now she will have to decide if her happiness is important or Arohi's. I'm surprised the child Akshu did not push the child Arohi down the stairs!đđ I would definitely say that was abuse!đđĄ
I wasn't very impressed as well. Never seen any of her shows before. I think though with time she will make a better actor. She is getting exposure with YRKKH and acting alongside HC, lots of opportunities here.
No the male lead was not married to 2 women, so not sure where you got that. Both the ML and FL were married, story starts with their spouses dead and then they find out their spouses had an affair with each other - based on Hollywood film Random Hearts. HC was wild as Aditya Hooda. I don't mind the FL (seen her in SaraswatiChandra and she was good) but in this show she spent practically the first 50 episodes crying and hyperventilating so much that it sounded as if she had a permanent coldđđ€Ł
Bold and Green- My mistake. I think I was talking about Humsafars. I didnât watch Bepanah except for snippets.
But HC is brilliant. I donât like the overly baby voice they make him use for the gentle Akshu scenes but I consider that the directorâs shortcoming.

Pink: I think you bring up an interesting point. It seems natural to me that Ak might think everyone she loves is snatched from her and therefore she plays safe, hiding behind Aaru. Itâs an interesting dimension to her character that frankly might make her character a tad bit more appealing at the moment. But thus far they have not explored this.
Akshara is not shown as vocal or passionate as Abhi but I think her love is quiet and deep and all encompassing. Itâs that intensity that Abhi wanted a piece of.
I do hope this plot is merely inspired by â Icheche Nodeeâ and does not show FL as good hearted , docile, sad, forgiving etc. and always suffering. I donât think it will be successful in a Hindi drama . No offense to regional drama content , donât mean to be disrespectful of the Bangla show or audience.

@ red, it is definitely an emotional wound she carries with her. She has mentioned it few times and that is why I think she clings so much to Arohi and her family. Frustrating that proper flaws and wounds are not explored in these kinda shows, they would definitely a go a long way to understanding what makes a character tick and gives credence to the way they act/respond.
Definitely agree that Akshu is like that saying 'still water runs deep'. She has a huge capacity to love and Abhi is the lucky man!
I don't have a clue what Ichche Nodee is but I've heard people refer to it here. The thing is, there is really no new plot and only about 7-10 tropes. Anyone can take the same plot and then give it their own twist. The villain in that show sounds very nasty - someone posted a snippet about it the other day and I don't want to see that in S3 of YRKKH. People are certainly getting wiser and don't want to waste their times on shows that literally chase their own tails. We all have limited time and we want something with quality and relatable which also entertains.
Bold and green: Yep yep yep! So agree with you! I used the exact saying once in this forum, in a post as I struggled to describe her. Still waters run deep.
Abhi seeks that depth- from the time he met her. He saw how very attached she was to Arohi and how Arohi was in her every thought and action and how deep and profound her love for Arohi was/is. And in a way he wanted to be part of it from then on.
