haan exactly...its like she never loved him to begin with...agar pyaar karti toh she wouldnt have issues choosing him over Baa's shallow societal threats...if she had the gall to break the shackles then why the hesitance and drama over choosing him.
I'm loving what Anuj did in the precap, she should let him go if she really does love him,
atleast that way he wont have the fear of her ditching him for his ex-family at every little inconvenience caused to them....the kids she is allowed and should care for but who the hell is Baa to question her decisions?
soooo here's how I see it (PS - I haven't watched the epi, sirf PC dekha hai... so this is all going by bits and pieces on insta and alllll your updates/comments)
She hasn't chosen to side with Baa yet. She was silent today (and I'm glad that she was) because she needs to take a step back to assess everything that was being told to her. honestly, nothing was wrong either (I read that Baa ka performance was really commendable?). Baa represents the society and sadly it was the truth.
RD ka presence and taunts from what I read, i didn't understand. Who is she to begin with? She likes drama so be it, but why is dhoo-ing haath in behti nadi?? This part I didn't understand (like toh khair door ki baat hogi)
We've always seen Anu being at loggerheads with Baa/V at multiple occassions - Dusshera, Diwali, supposed night out, partnership acceptance, bhoomi poojan ke bad ghar ka scene. Probably that's why we are feeling the miss. But those were one off events where she needed to scream or speak. This is a life changing decision. She may know what she wants but she needs to first take few steps back and THINK if this what she really wants. She wanted everyone to be on board with her decision hence she kept delaying it citing numerous reasons - kabhi Mukku, kabhi kinjal, kabhi ye woh. sahi time ka wait kar rahi thi. woh toh hone se raha. After the drama, she now (probably) knows ki sahi time is this. there's nothing more sahi. So introspection was needed. If she would've screamed, it would've looked forced. Bhashan is coming, isstree is getting garam...so let's wait it out. It will be a dhaasu one I'm hoping!
Also, she has lived in this "society" for 26 years and there's a certain way that she has adapted herself into. breaking that isnt always easy. plus, drama toh chahiye naaaa
Anuj in the PC (and this could be debatable) - he isn't going away just because of the granted element or dignity element (he doesn't even think that she's taking him for a ride in the first place). He is going away because he knows how much difficult is it for the person he has loved to take this decision - going against the "societal norms" and choosing between her family and love. He knows this very well (and says it too). He is walking away because he cannot see her hurt and torn (which makes sense and also justifies his character of immense understanding and love and sacrifices). He leaves the ball in her court and compels her to stand up for what she thinks is right - again letting her lead this relationship (again typical Anuj behaviour). He knows it will be difficult for him to "live" without her but he also knows that them living together in this case will be even more tough (unpopular opinion probably). She now needs to draw boundaries and respect them too.
His fear of her ditching him is more in terms of the society and her bandhan and less in terms of pyaar is what i feel.
Also, so far, she has been pushed by Babuji, Samar, Devika etc, but this time she needs to do it herself. no one else but her can actually break free. the whole "bediyaan" thing from bhoomi poojan parallel. But the difference is, Anuj was the one making her understand uss time, yahaan par yeh khud hi hai.
Change comes from within like they say, so that's what I think that's where they are going too.
phewwww!! sorry kaafi kuch likh liya, no offence pretty pleaseeeee!
