My 2 cents

Imlie story had been pathbreaking had they showed how Imlie breaks free from this forced marriage , how she challenges the scenerios she was pushed into. But accepting Forced marriage as sita maiya ka ashirwaad and sacrificing your identity is definitely nothing novel.

Imlie would have pathbreaking if instead of making Malini villan they should have showed her journey bcz she was wronged . Not only her lover of 7 years but also a girl who she took under her wing betrayed her. But they indeed took easiest route to make adi anf imlie palatable to audience and made conviently made her negative. Bcz then istead of imlie people would be rooting for malini

Viz Silsila where a story presented as eternal love as kunal nandini received so much hate and it ended up becoming journey of Mauli.

Imlie would have been pathbreaking , if Adi being self-rightous journalist as he claims to be had first and foremost annuled his marraige bcz that was the right ,practical and realisitic thing to do. And no listening to 18 years old her views doesnt cut it. Being a journalist you know how marriage is viewed in villages . The best thing to do was helping 18 years old girl overcome them.

The path which imlie team took before with pati parneshwar and all that is seen in every other show. And was highly problmatic and replusive as a woman.

What Imlie is showing now should have been shown way before. Her moving on in life, falling in love with a person who loves her for her. And i dont feel that if you are attracted to.someone it is wrong bcz.it is nothing to.be ashamed of.

And i would like if they actually break taboo by showing Imlie realising that its ok to be attracted to some one .

This story started with Aditya wanting to interview the rebel Satyakam, to show people that he was fighting for people's rights and not a terrorist - he was lauded for succeeding to get this interview and thanked by SK for his hard work in bringing this to people's attention.

Aditya was praised for his work, won awards, Imlie even helped him on one or two occasions like when she planted a bug on someone in the restaurant.

This was good, praiseworthy. Where has it all gone? Now we have a sobbing Adi, a distraught Imlie, journalism gone haywire and two families it seems including Imlie's mother, hell-bent on ruining the lives of both Imlie and Aditya with no real concern for anything the two of them wanted.

It is all a new supposedly handsome male intent on ruining a girl's life by getting revenge on her ex-husband using his loads-of-money and emotional physical and psychological pressure, all the time. The story has reduced from a real high point at the beginning to a degenerate let's - make-a-girl-miserable-close-her-mouth-restrict-her-movements-and-choices monologue.

So, so sad.😭😒 This was the best series on TV, now it is not even worth glancing at. I am sure many of the actors are wondering what happened to the fine story they signed on for. Not one of them now seems able to express their character at all any more. What else is there to say, other than please can we rewind, make this last few months a horrible nightmare Imlie is having, (like they did in Dallas), and re-start with Aditya and Imlie married and no Malini or Aryan in sight. That would be heaven. 😃

True, since janmashtami script took a nosedive and the show has been unrecognizable since. Maybe GM decided he wanted out once he heard where show was heading and makers didn’t care they just wanted to stay on air even if they content quality was compromised. Can’t believe it’s the same show. Can’t rewatch old episodes we know how it fell off the cliff one janmashtami night episode.

ITV shows all go down the same chute after first200 episodes. Where is the creative storytelling?

Different day, same old complaints. Aren't people tired of complaining? It's not like the creatives of this show are gonna digress from what they wanna show just because of these complaints.
