Agar show kisi serious patrakar ka hai toh naam to badaldena chahiye na PH ko? But why are they not showing whoever that serious patrakaar is and what he/she is doing? 🥺

How dumb of the makers to name the story of the serious patrakaar's adventures 'imlie' and show some random Imlie's life?

I'm no longer interested in this guys, someone pls tag me somewhere when the makers decide to remember the actual soul of the show 🙄

It still a serious patrakar show , imlie is featured writer her beau hold reigns to all patrakers .too much patrakarita is happening 😃

Story is about media perils only. This is the reality.

Imlie is the medium to convey the perils and ordeals faced by journalist and now they have explained how media houses get pressurized to get TRP and what all the journalists, the owners are reduced to doing to earn money.

They effectively have shown Aryan whom so many love to be the guy who convinces Imlie to participate in marriage for some ransom money.

The story has to begin with patrakar and end with patrakar only... Maybe Aryan may become journalist in long run.

By the time Imli does realize she’s warming up to ASR he’s bound to do something terrible, after allImli and marriage are oil and water or should we say tamarind and milk.happy marriage is not in her cards, for once can we see a career focused Imli who goes all the way through sheer grit and hard work to achieve her dreams instead of getting distracted by Dudes with big egos and married to her against her will.

This story started with Aditya wanting to interview the rebel Satyakam, to show people that he was fighting for people's rights and not a terrorist - he was lauded for succeeding to get this interview and thanked by SK for his hard work in bringing this to people's attention.

Aditya was praised for his work, won awards, Imlie even helped him on one or two occasions like when she planted a bug on someone in the restaurant.

This was good, praiseworthy. Where has it all gone? Now we have a sobbing Adi, a distraught Imlie, journalism gone haywire and two families it seems including Imlie's mother, hell-bent on ruining the lives of both Imlie and Aditya with no real concern for anything the two of them wanted.

It is all a new supposedly handsome male intent on ruining a girl's life by getting revenge on her ex-husband using his loads-of-money and emotional physical and psychological pressure, all the time. The story has reduced from a real high point at the beginning to a degenerate let's - make-a-girl-miserable-close-her-mouth-restrict-her-movements-and-choices monologue.

So, so sad.😭😒 This was the best series on TV, now it is not even worth glancing at. I am sure many of the actors are wondering what happened to the fine story they signed on for. Not one of them now seems able to express their character at all any more. What else is there to say, other than please can we rewind, make this last few months a horrible nightmare Imlie is having, (like they did in Dallas), and re-start with Aditya and Imlie married and no Malini or Aryan in sight. That would be heaven. 😃

No yaar please let her have a happy married life so that the makers can pull down the curtains 🤣🤣🤣

Very welll said yaar. You spoke my mind. This story was so fresh and the way story proceeded was unique and the love stroy was unconventional, different unique and very pure( I am using the word pure in full conscious and I know I wil get backlash 🤣). Now Imlie has become yet another show where a rich business man is getting in to a marriage with a girl who is not interested and story will proceed with lot of sexual tension between the leads and lots of push and pull. Kya se kya banadiya story ko 😕. Forgot to mention this show had some top notch of acting from the entire cast especially Gash and Sumbul for the 270 episodes.

What exactly was unique about the story before?

It was about a young bride being mistreated by her inlaws and her husband and how she took all their nonsense but gave them only love and eventually won them over with her sanskaars and super-woman avtaar.... #rollseyes

.... What exactly was path breaking about the story?? ... Switch on any channel, any show it is the same- dukhyaari bechaari bahu fighting for love and respect and not once questioning the crap she is being put through because pati (and his family) is parmeshwar

This show had the added cringe elements of making the bahu the naukrani and having her sister as her sauten

The current track is also not anything new - an alpha male, both the leads at loggerheads because of opposite value systems and now a forced marriage

But i find this far more palatable than the rubbish shown before.
