Veere di wedding (2018)

I actually enjoyed this movie a lot. I loved its premise and I loved the way the movie was executed. Pure unadulterated fun. Yes, and the Swara Bhaskar iconic scene was NOT the highlight for me. It was definitely a movie that can be termed as a chick-flick but it's also a movie that was unapologetic, engaging, and upbeat.

I like Aisha and Veere di wedding both, Aisha is cuter and the songs are better but Veere di wedding is not as bad as some people make it out to be.

I think we need more movies that focus on women and their friendships, and this was a step in the right direction.

Haven't watched the film yet and not planning to. Orgies and groping men in the promo song put me off. Chickflicks are just not my cup of tea whether it be this or Sex and the city.

I found the female friendship in Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl a lot more interesting. These women from different backgrounds and age had a common goal. To get back at the man who stole something precious from them. It's not just about the money. It's also about their self-respect.And they are go-getters and ambitious. Not content to sit around waiting for the cops to get around to it. And yes the 90s film First Wives Club with Goldie Hawn and Diane Keaton is another favorite for pretty much the same reason.Whining about problems with boyfriends,jobs and interfering family members are just not going to cut it with me.

I enjoyed the movie a lot too. It was fun & fluffy & what BW needs. Why should men have all the fun!
