Great review and totally agree with you. It is a tough sell but must be watched... And as much as we hate Baa what today she said is what current Indian society lives in, unfortunate but accurate mirror and there are many Rakhis who light the fire and watch
In the end glad that Anuj will leave it to her to take the next steps, it's fiction so yes we know she will ultimately be with Anuj.
