I visited it a few years ago - the lady of the house Mrs Winchester was the heir to the Winchester rifle money. A fortune teller told her the house was haunted by the ghosts of all the people killed by the rifles and that the only way to stop them from coming for her was to keep building more rooms in the house. So the house is very strange, it is full of all these weird wings and rooms that don't have any purpose. Some of them are very creepy...😒
