M, you have done it again. Weave all the complex emotions together, and in such a realistic and heartfelt way. Will have to talk about my favorite part of the chapter first - the interaction between Imlie and Aryan in the hospital after the failed abduction. It was SO, SO precious M. Just so inherently tender that it made my heart ache a little bit. From the way Aryan interlaced his fingers with Imlie, to the way Imlie didn't immediately pull away and both found the solace in each other with that gentle squeeze of hands. Sigh, so many emotions. The abduction felt filmy yet absolutely true at the same time, filmy because you don't think things like these happen in real life, it's so far fetched and real because of the way you wrote the scenes keeping in mind each detail, how one would absolutely lose one's mind in such a scenario. The priorities changing in a life threatening scenario, the guilt and worry for the other person and taking the help of people especially Police who have the only chance to save our loved ones. Imlie's horror of being abducted especially while being pregnant felt so palpable. The girl is shaken to her core and in her guilt, she lets out the truth. Loved how you used this abduction as a trigger for Imlie to tell Aryan the truth, and as a major plot point as well because this ensures Aryan a reason to try to keep Imlie close to him. I will miss Imlie's friends though, they are a riot 🤣

OHMYGOD AND HOW CAN I FORGET MAHI ?

I never ever saw THAT twist coming. OhmyJesus M 🤣 The Baby Daddy scene WAS HILARIOUS. I chuckled for straight 10 minutes, literally envisioning the whole scene including Aryan's smug face, Imlie's mortified one and Mahi's shocked pikachu face.

Much needed lightheartedness after that roller-coaster of a chapter, that's the best part about your writing. You balance everything SO incredibly well.

I never knew comedy could so well be translated into written form of fiction. It's easy to laugh on screen when we have been given the expressions, circumstances and the characters quite literally because it's a visual form. But I have always thought comedy inculcated in writing is always a tough one because you have it all in your head through the words of course, and you have to laugh from that imagination. It's definitely complicated and I could never do that, because it also depends upon timing of the humor and building up that laughter. But you do it really effortlessly M, and your humor always tickles in the right places. You said that it will make me laugh and it really did, too much in fact.

Thank you for building this story and taking us along for a ride on it. ❤️ You are one of the best writers I have encountered. The way you deal with these plethora of emotions in words is so absolutely admirable that I am lowkey envious of your writing skills. But putting a huge kaala teeka as well (🌑)

It was 1000000 times better than what we saw in the actual serial. Imlu's fear, gochu Singh's desperation to protect her at any cost, and those 2 boys shielding her 🔥🔥🔥 that scene where they were shielding her between them it was phiiiiiiiiiireeee! And then our gonchu Singh jumping into it. 🔥

I read this fighting scene 3 times
