Neil saving the day today with the bike and car is foreshadowing of him always protecting Abhira. He is going to get stuck with Aarohi in attempt to save Abhi and Akshu somehow… he is so pure hearted that he is willing to do anything to see them happy.
I loved Abhira’s heart to heart before the pooja. They can hear each other without having to say a single word. Akshu’s tears spoke volumes today. She does not express her emotions and excitement in the same way that Abhi does, but this girl is literally crying out of joy. She has suffered so much to get to this point, and she is bursting with excitement that she is finally marrying Abhi. Abhi catching her tear was so symbolic. He will always be there to catch all of her pain in his hands. He won’t ever let anything happen to her.
I wrote this in a post yesterday, and I’ll write it again today. The reason Aarohi’s wedding card reaching the mandir is largely for symbolic purposes. So that Abhi could burn it. Fire represents destruction, but it also represents rebirth. By burning the card, he purified anything that was wrong in the past… he paved way for Abhira’s new beginning by officially closing that chapter. Things are coming full circle, and this was just another step in that journey.
So, Aarohi did not actually switch the cards this time. I would actually feel really bad for her, but again, it is extremely hard to sympathize with her because she has brought this upon herself. It is like the boy who cried wolf. When you lie over and over again, no one trusts you when you actually tell the truth. Today, it was not only Abhi who suspected her. It was every single person in both families… because, they all know that she is jealous of Akshu and what she is capable of at this point. Yes, she did not swap the cards. But, she did knock over the tilak, spoil Valentines Day, ruin Abhira’s photos, lie about the fire kaand, lie about Manjari’s pooja, etc. etc… and half of these things were never even revealed. So, how can we blame Abhi for blasting her? Yes, he is harsh and impulsive with his words, but his sentiments are entirely justified. I loved Abhi’s dialogue about him respecting bade papa, but not trusting Aarohi. Even though he was angry, he still did not lose his senses.
Abhi called Akshu out today too in front of the families, saying she has blind faith in Aarohi. His insecurities are resurfacing and he is terrified of losing Akshu, like he told her afterwards. He thinks that Aarohi will create troubles for them, and he cannot bear that thought. I felt deeply for him today. He is trying to awaken Akshu, but it is just not working. Akshu looked really concerned when Abhi was saying all of this, so I am glad that they are having these conversations. They will slowly and steadily get on the same page.
However, Akshu’s character development has been TREMENDOUS. Abhi stopped her today, and she did not go after Aarohi. She is learning to balance all of her relationships. She looked so desperate and hopeless being stuck in between them. Again, this show has always been about Aarohi and Abhi competing for Akshu… and we saw it yet again today…however, Akshu is no longer blind in her sister’s love like she used to be. Yes, she trusts Aarohi still, but she is not going to leave Abhi behind or sacrifice or hurt him because of Aarohi. Today, she sent Kairav instead… and this is HUGE!
Despite all of the kaands, the pooja happened. No matter what kaands happen, shaadi is guaranteed. That is the overall theme of these episodes.
In terms of the precap, I really really doubt that anyone has been hit. It is misleading and I think she showed that Anisha is leaving on purpose to misguide the audience.
In terms of the continued trend of parallels, again, Aarohi is threatening suicide, but this time, Abhira will come closer because of it.
I see this playing out in 1-3 ways…. Also holi is coming which will be a happy celebration, so there ain’t gonna be a separation….
Now, this could be a parallel to the accident track, because again, Abhi has left upset to the hospital. This is what happened last time as well, only for him to find out that Akshu had been in an accident….
so
Perhaps Akshu will get injured. Abhi’s radar is only for Akshu…that is how they have shown it until this far. It is not for Manjari nor for Neil… so, this would be a direct parallel
or
Akshu has been kidnapped. They were shooting in the jungle at night, so maybe Abhi will find her and there will be a drunken night part 2, this time with the sindoor being completed.
